Being interviewed has exposed his ideas as being completely bananas. Keeping a lid on it would make them more dangerous and appealing.

I don't buy that at all, everyone says this now, it's more dangerous to keep it "hidden". Sure, democracy only works if it allows idiots, but that doesn't mean that standard media like Fox News should interview anyone just because it's free speech, an organization got its own standards and conduct itself based on its own ideals. No media site interviews everyone because of free speech. Just like this site won't allow non-stop console warring.
I'm honestly glad he was removed. The free speech bar for private platforms should be lower than governments, or it just negatively effects everyone else's experience. The main thing is that the rules should be applied fairly to everyone, and I have no doubt that was true in this case.
