Probably not, no. I suspect he's also here for NX. But I'm sure he goes to NA from time to time for events no bigger than this, and it's not a competitor if they're making money from it. And, this is a pretty landmark event for Nintendo.

The rumor from WSJ was about compatibility with mobile titles, which could also mean My Nintendo cross-compatibility and things like that. I wouldn't expect Nintendo mobile titles to definitely be playable on NX.

I think it's possibly indicative of an NX announcement, but not definitively. Certainly more likely to be related than if this was July. But I agree that he surely comes to the US for smaller events than this.

All of their mobile games are internally developed and Miyamoto is directly overseeing Super Mario Run. They are developed by their main teams.

Me! Not because Mario on iOS gets me excited. I'm probably not even gonna play that shit, but because the Neo is just a box that will play the games you already own and make them look a bit prettier. There's really nothing to argue about . Nintendo objectively stole the spotlight today.

That PS Meeting felt like an event from the early years of the PS3. It was dull and really didn't do anything to sell people on the new device.

Miyamoto walking on stage at the Apple conference was honestly mindblowing to me and probably a lot of other people.
