I mean yeah I am biased so I'm more quick to believe it but I also have eyes and ears and know all the things he has done and has been accused of. It's adding up. I don't think this is all a reflection of Russia so much as a reflection of us and our country right now. Russia wanted to sow discord, but I doubt they really thought Trump would get elected. They were probably WTFing even more than we were this whole time.

He says they had a briefing, but the DNI wasn't specific about what they briefed him on, the statement is designed to be read in many ways. The fact that the statement and phone call was made is important, but the statement is not really saying that he was briefed on this document specifically. Lord knows what the actual conversation was like tonight.

Nothing in the Buzzfeed account has been verified yet. What was verified is that Trump was briefed on the dossier (and his surrogates have retweeted Clapper's statement), when at his press conference he said he hadn't. So we have direct, on-camera proof of Trump lying.
The issue is not whether the 35 page report is true, as that as not been determined by anyone yet. The issue was Trump and his surrogates denying that he had been briefed by the IC including this report, but now Clapper has stated he was briefed, so Trump and his surrogates have been caught directly in a lie.
Also, that they briefed Obama and Trump with this report means that it is being considered at least credible right now. If it was considered nonsense by the IC, they wouldn't include it in a briefing.
It doesn't verify the details of the Buzzfeed story. It just means that the CIA is actively looking into it and that Trump lied about not being briefed on it.

Alright fair enough. But it seems to me, that whether nor not Trump did do something illegal, Russia won here. But with Trump having to do their bidding who knows what kind of information he could leak to them which would be invaluable.

Hyper-projection is currently an extremely popular tactic among the alt-right. I am not sure if this is because Trump successfully employed it during the election campaign or if he was himself was schooled in its use by his handlers who are now further instructing their followers in how to redirect a discussion in their favor. Either way, we should all get use to seeing it and other forms of gaslighting. I'm currently embroiled in a discussion elsewhere and watching a gang of alt-right trolls derail a topic by shouting down minorities and accusing them of being bigots, racists and xenophobes.

So? There's a mountain of evidences against him for sexual assault, tax evasion/fraud, conflicts of interest, defamation/libel, nepotism, all kinds of shit. But it does confirm that IC has at least briefed Trump on the dossier as of today, and seems to confirm that they are looking into the dossier and it's allegations.
It really doesn't completely vindicate CNN's original reporting that Trump was briefed on the 2 page synopsis last Friday. Doesn't debunk CNN's reporting either though.
I would assume a real killer would not be some lurid sex tape, but more mundane yet more dangerous comprising financial deals and arrangements.

Yeah the actual details of the report won't be verified for a while, if ever. The story of the evening is that Trump and co. are already directly lying about it, which throws up its own set of red flags.
