This is so much more fun reading in the Swedish Chef voice from The Muppets. "inkewding a much-meesed kerr-errp merrd."Despite trying to act as a gritty tale of survival, Resistance 3 is in essence just a regular shooter, with far more action filled firefights than lurking tales of humanity. Thankfully it's a well made game and has an impressive arsenal of excellent weapons, and the multiplayer - including a much-missed co-op mode - is a lot of fun.

http://www.justpushstart.com/2011/09/06/resistance-3-review/There are numerous FPS games released each year that its hard for some of them to stand out in the overcrowded market. Thankfully, Insomniac Games has managed to make Resistance 3 a fun and innovative experience. The addition of unique weapons, cool looking enemies and split-screen multiplayer is a major plus for me. The feature to reintroduce the health bar system is also a refreshing experience that sets Resistance 3 apart from many other games. The multiplayer mode is also heaps of fun to play and will add hours of more entertainment beyond the single player mode. Although its only September, Resistance 3 is sure to be a contender for Game of the Year.

Usually games drop a couple of points after the initial 20 scores. So it'll probably end up at 84, like Killzone 3.Ashes1396 said:Metacritic watch: 86 at the moment.
Resistance 2 is gonna be the highest rated game in the series!![]()

Yes, this hypothetical score goes to show how broken it is. You are correct, sir.Ashes1396 said:I actually want it to be atleast 89. Just so Insomniac can say they improved on each game....
This just goes to show how broken metacritic is more than anything.

Usually the opposite when European reviewers break the embargo first, I've noticed. European reviewers are often harsher, or more honest. However you want to look at itShtof said:Usually games drop a couple of points after the initial 20 scores. So it'll probably end up at 84, like Killzone 3.

That's fine. Same as Killzone 3 then. Never expected them to give this a 9.Loudninja said:Eurogamer review 8/10

Nice review, got me excited for this game. Unfortunately cant justify spending $60 on a short campaign as a dont care for the MP. If this game had coop like R2 it would already be bought. so dumb of IGBlimblim said:Our review is up, along with quite a few videos:

A lot of reviewers review the check-list more than the game. Especially in the busy season like R2 was released intomadmackem said:Fo shame, rfom was alot better game than the second and the multi from r3 felt like a return to the greatness.
http://www.el33tonline.com/past_article/2011/9/6/resistance_3_reviewResistance 3 will not disappoint with its epic battles, smart enemies, explosive weapons, engaging sets and action-packed storyline its an outstanding first-person shooter that will rival the best 2011 has to offer and deliver one of the most excellent gaming experiences youll have this year. With an exceptional singleplayer campaign, offline and online co-operative play, and a range of multiplayer modes, youre definitely get more bang for your buck with this title.

Truth be told, I haven't had such a blast with a first person shooter in a long while, which is why I strongly advise you to give it a try. After all, Resistance 3 has no trouble besting Killzone 3 and other references of the genre in many departments.

http://www.meristation.com/v3/des_analisis.php?pic=PS3&idj=cw4c495921238d6&id=cw4e6531c88ef0fWith great visuals and intense heart-pounding gameplay, completed with a replayable Campaign mode and a solid Multiplayer offering that fans of the saga (and gamers who look for a great FPS experience) will love, Resistance 3 turns into the best game in the series so far, making it an epic conclusion to Insomniac's and PlayStation 3's exclusive trilogy.
It's a spine-chilling experience, and if you play this game alone at night, you'll likely go from explosive growls to explosive bowels.

Great weapons, intense battles, co-op campaign, builds on a great foundation.
Minus:
Some technical issue
Loudninja said:Nowgamer gave it an 8.8, not posted a link because they suck and they put a lot of spoliers in the review.

Equally impressive is the 3D, which is crucially crisp and a clear. What helps it though are those massive enemies that keep popping up. Remember that big mechanical leg we had a mini-rave about? It was made for 3D.
