Exactly. It wasn't about one of the 500 (exaggeration, got it?) definitions of doa, it was about what i think people meant by saying it in this context. Exaggerations are the bread and butter of forums, you shouldn't take anything too literally here. If i say "The Godskin Duo raped me 2 hours last night" nobody is looking up the definition of rape and telling me they didn't.

I got my PS5 Pro preordered on Thursday. I'm not surprised it's doing well. In the end, gamers speak with their wallets. If the games are there and people deem the product a worthy upgrade, it will sell.


It's the same way I wasn't happy with the price of my 4090 but I still ended up getting one because the upgrade was insane and I couldn't be happier with the results I got out of my games.

I have not, I was hovering over the buy button yesterday after popping in that thread but talked myself out of it.

Bought a Capita Black Snowboard of Death for the up coming Snowboarding season instead. $70 cheaper as well.

On topic, I'm definitely curious to see how much this thing sells this quarter given the price. 4 Pro was around 1.3 million I think. Sony would be very happy if it did those numbers for sure.

Somebody just said those who were saying dead on arrival were wrong. They didn't mention anybody specifically. You then jumped in and said dead on arrival doesn't mean it doesn't sell on arrival it means it sells less than PS4 pro. I then mentioned that you're twisting the meaning of the term. Meanwhile when the s launched and was predicted to be detrimental to the industry we were told that options were good. Now we have an optional console that is pushing boundaries and setting up PS6 and options are suddenly bad.
