Wanted to like this movie since everyone swears by it. Got up to half way? Where Steve coogans character gets killed and turned it off. I barely had laughed. I can't imagine it got better after that point .

That was pretty much exactly when the movie got good. The cast thinks it is a special effect and keep thinking they're shooting a movie but are in a warzone. So they are doing dumb overdramatic shit to "fight" and haplessly surviving by accident.

I admit I wasn't impressed with that scene when I first saw it and didn't want another hour of it, but it's more a story necessity than a gag because he had to go to complete the setup of the movie.

I should rewatch the movie in english because with italian dub it was beyond cringe (pretty much what happen when you watch 95% of american comedies with italian dub)
