Great, so now we are at the point where the source is "trust me bro".
See, you say you enjoyed it but also you're reluctant to state that you ended up with the sd card issue:
Funny that.
What I stated was clear - Their reputation as an AIB/OEM is in the mud, and most PC builders who are in the know will not recommend their hardware. It doesn't matter how "dominant" you or they want to claim they are, I wouldn't recommend their hardware to people building PC's and many other reputable individuals in the PC building space will say exactly the same thing. Prime example:
It did actually ,the problem was my ASUS motherboard, for some reason default settingss were not respecting Intel safety parameters, they only adressed it on the 1801 update.
Asus motherboards are such a pile of shit with their updates and default settings man. Same goes for the AMD side as well.
When you're putting together your AMD build go for anything other than Asus.
He then ignored the advice:
I Was very happy that my new CPU and Motherboard arrived (x870E Asus ans 9 9800X3D) but my PC wouldnt turn on no matter what. Swapped to my old motherboard and CPU and PC came back alive.
I wasnt expecting this to happen but fuck me i guess, the rumors about bricked AM5 motherboards and CPUs are real.
So what you guys recommended: Nintendo Switch 2 or PS5 Pro?
Dude, what did I tell you about continuing to fuck around with Asus motherboards?
At this point you're just doing it to yourself.
Get a decent MSI motherboard and that way you can game...
Meanwhile you're here literally regurgitating their "Asus number one!" bullshit marketing.
But like I said, you've got a vested interest (on multiple fronts) a
nd I'm sure they shower you with free/discounted products, so you're not exactly going to be impartial here.
Really don't care, especially when you're peddling nonsense like the folllwing:
Sorry to shatter your illusion, but here is me being critical of Asus in 2023:
Asus + Windows + poor battery life + they overhyped the performance.
It's a niche of a niche product for those who want the best possible handheld performance and are willing to put up with the quirks.
If you care about overall user experience the best bang for buck is the steam deck and it's still the best overall option out there.
Imagine saying other people are having "periods" when you can't handle discussions to the point where you say you "can't engage" and need to block someone.
