I hope we see some more confirmed roadmap of this sooner or later. I have a 3090 PC and was planning to go sole PC, but Switch is still calling me over the hassles of Yuzu plus the new model rumors and the general simplicity of console has its draw to play more on PS5. The more Sony hits PC, the more likely I am to just stick there, but Spider-Man on PS5 looked better than it had any right to.

On principal, I agree with you, but the difference here is Jim Ryan himself has said that more Sony games will be coming to PC and that Days Gone is just part of the start of that.
Outside of maybe Ghosts, none of the games listed in the rumor are up for questioning IMO; GoW follows a pattern of a PS4 game getting a sequel soon that ends up with a PC port in-between (just like Horizon), and both Bloodborne and the Uncharted games (especially 1, 2, and 3) are very old titles, dating anywhere between 5-14 years old. And DS Remake just came out last year, so some type of Souls port to PC that hasn't already happened, seems fitting.
But it's the Ghosts one that is potentially either outright wrong, or very telling IMO if it's correct. Same goes for the others but especially for Ghosts.

As a Sony guy I'm glad others get to play. When this situation becomes day and date, then it's something to actually think about. Like, even I'd consider a dedicated PC for games, in a small form factor, for my living room.

Why should I care about Sony earning hundred of millions? I am not a Sony exec getting profits. I dont own Sony stocks. I have always found jerking off over sales a bit odd.
Actually, I was the happiest with Sony when they were losing billions in the ps3 era. They went out and bought GG, Sucker Punch, Evolution Studios, Media Molecule and made dozens more exclusives than they have in the PS4 era while posting record profits.
I dont believe in millions trickling down to peasant gamers either. if they did Sony wouldve funded BB and DriveClub PS4 Pro patches. They made $240 million in three days selling 4 million copies of TLOU2. Most digital so they got 100% of the revenue. 9 months later, we still dont have a 60 fps ps5 patch.

Ive been setting up pcsx2 on my brand spanking new pc.
Xbox is the future of playstation as far as i see it. Mostly irrelevant budget alternative to pc gaming.
Pc gaming is the future.
Consoles:
Without games tailored to hardware
Without unique exclusive games
With low end 3rd party games
Compromised physical releases
General gaas bollocks.
Its just ompletely devoid of anything that made console gaming interesting.

I would leave the playstation platform. Im only in it for the exclusives. Uncharted Collection and Bloodborne do make sense to me though. God of War and The Last of Us are system sellers. I wouldnt put them anywhere near a PC. Like I havent even bought GOT yet. If get the feelings all titles will eventually go to PC Ill just stop buying these consoles.

I think it's good for those PCMR who keep shitting on Sony with their "cinematic" games and then they play masterpieces like God of War, Bloodborne and Ghost of Tsushima and realize how wrong they were.
There is nothing like this on PC.

Why not? They all have been out for a long while now, and they have sold all that they can. These Sony exclusives coming to PC will be pirated, but will still sell millions each. I'm sure when Sony and MS came to an accord to develop Cloud services for Sony that their exclusives will be making way to the PC.

Console gaming is interesting because it's cost effective.
Because Sony's business model involves using exclusive games to sell hardware. They'll release games on PC to entice PC gamers to buy PlayStations (so they can play the sequels day 1), but they're not going to port games that are still selling.
So I can see them releasing Uncharted (since that series is over) and Bloodborne (ditto), but not God of War and definitely not Ghost of Tsushima (which won't see a sequel for several years).

I don't know that this is a bad thing for Sony fans tbh. Sony getting a big cash infusion from PC means they can spend more on games and on Playstation. I still see PC and consoles as mostly separate markets so I don't think it's much of a threat.

I very much doubt this, Bloodborne and God of War are core titles for Sony, they sell the console itself. I dont think they will release them on PC. Also Bloodborne is developed solely for the 30fps PS4, in 60fps it would look awkward.
Ghost of Tsuchima, well this one will release on PC for sure, its from a smaller developer its like Horizon Zero Dawn situation, it will release 2 years after.
I do hope they release them on PC though, its always good to release the game on PC imo.

you have it backwards my friend, BB has a much bigger chance than anything else coming to PC, its free millions. You forget these games are more popular on PC and in the long run, outsell their console counterparts. We just have a better audience for Bloodborne. Trust me, in a few months itll be announced for PC/PS5.
