Holy shit, that worked.
I had actually tried it before, but the phone would be busy. Then when I got blown up, my worthless gang wouldn't bring me the VTOL or helicopter so I could get back quickly. I just quit using the phone at all.

Phone's only busy for certain missions it seems. And the VTOL/helicopter won't work if you're not quite in a suitable area for them to land - need enough open airspace to approach as well as enough of a landing platform nearby.

My first impression of the game is really good. It runs smooth as butter. You can really tell that Volition put some effort into the PC version. The handling is also a huge improvement over SR2. It is probably still best played with a game pad, but I had no troubles with keyboard & mouse.
Gameplay-wise it reminded me a lot of Just Cause 2, in the sense that the game encourages you to simply fuck around and see what happens. I can also appreciate little extras like the car surfing mini-game. I had fun with that for at least 20 minutes. And like JC2 the gunplay is pretty basic but it suffices, but then again who cares about that if you can wield a purple dildo sword.

What a fucking magnificent game, just finished all the endings. Incredible, from start to finish. Best time I had in a sandbox game since Bully.

the happy one and then make that in the first mission of Saints Row 4 you get rid of Eddie, Temple and the STAG, all in one and make that game start with a bang. Also the corporative whore Saints Row is best Saints Row and Gangs in Space movie needs to be canon

So according to the game, I have played the game for 14 hours, and done jack shit in terms of missions and what not, yet I have racked up $3218.1201.1 million in medical bills

Nah, just a fond affectation. It's easier to give all cheevo systems a blanket name rather than say PSN Trophies/Live Achievements/Steam Achievements. And it makes me smile when I type it.

SO is there any item/weapon that lets me warp around like the Decker specialist. Every time I see them it makes me sad they can do something awesome that I can't.

So been playing it A LOT and doing a lot of side stuff first, and wanted to know.
IF and in witch store can you buy an eye patch? And is their more and the 1 pirate hat I found so far?

I don't think I've seen an eye patch in this game but yeah if there was one it'd be in Let's Pretend.
If not already mentioned, if you're on PS3, installing the season pass will break compatibility with the Saints Row community site. So you can't update your stats/download+upload characters/upload photos. I read on the community site Volition/THQ are looking into it.
It sucks right now with this dumb glitch. =/
They also said your stats and the rest of the stuff should be fine when they fix the issue since the game saves all your updates on your PS3 to begin with.

Finished up everything, minus the Assassination and Vehicle Delivery missions. Is it worth it to go back, considering the fact that I basically have God Mode enabled with my invincibility and unlimited ammo? If I do those, and the rest of the challenges, Ill have a full /1000 points in the game, but Im not sure if theyre worth the time if theyre not fun.

Yeah go over to the national guard armory (small island on bottom right side of map.) Sometimes one spawns there, you're looking for a Tornado or a Vulture. They have Eagles there which are neat looking but don't have weapons I don't think.
It's up to every man to decide for himself but I had a blast getting all 1000/1000.

You can find an armed Eagle chopper at
the guard base, there will be one on one of the helipads there. There will be only one armed one, and a bunch of unarmed ones too.

Damn, you're probably right. Looking at 950/1000 is causing small rifts internally so I might as well just bite the bullet and finish it up, it's not like I'm no longer having a good time with it, I just didn't want to feel like I was forcing myself to finish it up and have it leave a bad taste in my mouth. I was a tad disappointed that most of the awesome abilities came toward the end of the game when there wasn't much to do left in the world, the unlimited rocket launcher with no ragdoll is a pretty cathartic experience.

Past SR games let you replay any mission at any time. I'm not sure why they don't let you do that in this one.

..now all we need to know is what happened to the 3rd Street Saints in Red Faction timeline.
yeah it's crazy, because you activate mission using the phone so it's should be easier for them to keep the list to the player to replay the mission again.
Vol should put it in a patch, if not I hope Gentlemen of Steelport dude put that in the mod.
also I need a patch that make the more random survival fights and gangs respawned somewhere after I takedown the city , because now I need something to kill.

So I was playing last night with Kinzie, Josh and Viola as my homies, and there's actually little recorded conversations between each of them. Very cool. I wonder if all homies talk to each other or just certain couples.

There was a rumor about that "Steelport Gangs Pack" coming in future DLC. Most likely just going to be the clothes and nothing else, but sure would be nice if they added the ability to go along with the Decker's Specialist outfit. Would make paying for a costume DLC pack a bit easier to stomach.

I just want to say that volition did a great job with the game world. It's not too big, so you get a sense of progression as you buy property. Just Cause 2 was just too big to feel like you've made a dent in the world.
