I don't think that'll work. I believe they only get the 3 million if the show is renewed. Anyway, even if they did have it, I don't think that'd be a good use of the money.

TrekUnited.com has nearly 3.1 million right now ($3,097,635.00 to be exact). It's Paramount who won't get any of the money unless the series is renewed. I was saying that TrekUnited.com should use some of the money to get their trailer on TV.

In other news, Jolene Blalock was asked about the final episode: "[awkward silence]...I don't know where to begin with that one. The final episode is ... appalling."

Now it seems that the rumoured final episode's plot is true. :(

No. There's a
Mirror Universe
storyline coming up that sounds like the last worthwhile episode of the show.

The finale involves
Brannon & Braga digging up Roddenberry's corpse and buggering it on screen for 45 minutes
.

:( After reading the previous writeup on what looks to be the final ep... I have to agree...

Oh be quiet and show your booty already...

"...Just repeat to yourself 'it's just a show', you should really just relax."

Good-fucking-gravy. Where the hell were these people with more money than they know what to do with when DS9 was cancelled? Let it go, give Trek a breather, and bring Manny back in a few years so he can have a fresh start. That way, he doesn't have to deal with an audience that largely consists of only people so dedicated, they sat through the first three years of Enterprise "just because it's Star Trek."

I find it hysterical how critical all those Trekkies are of Enterprise, but the moment it is about be cancelled, they all rally around an extremely mediocre show.

That trailer was boring too. All it made me do was realize how much Star Trek fucking sucks now. I ain't gonna save shit.

Well what will they have to bitch about when all the Trek is gone? After all, their mother's basement is nice and dark and damp, the outside world of the 'upright humans'...not so much. One can understand their sudden protest.

I find it funny how people make generic statements with really nothing to back them up, just for the sake of making them. Most of the "critical Trekkies" as you put it, if you check on many of the sites have been generally happy with what they've seen as improved writing "this season", it seems sad now that the writing has improved(and I agree this season generally has been done well), now is the time the show gets the axe.

And as for rallying around a mediocre show? Most of what's on TV is mediocre these days, no big surprise there.

I'd have to imagine that at least some of the fan outcry is due to the increased quality of writing and directing the show has had this season. If Season 4 had been another round with B&B instead of Coto, I'd be perfectly happy with the cancellation.

I hope someone picks it up for another season, Enterprise was on of the few shows I watch on TV.

Don't get your hopes up... I believe this ship is sunk.

Uh...DS9 wasn't cancelled. It ran its full seven seasons.

I sincerely doubt it's going to bring the show back. They should divide up the money and start a 'Get A Trekkie Laid' contest. That much money could surely buy alot of high-class call girls...or about 3 million toothless street hoes.

Just now had a chance to see the trailer they put up. Very slick presentation - using the theme from First Contact was a particularly good idea, although I must say, the trailer as a whole made my reminisce about the old Next Gen and DS9 days and how much better they were than Enterprise on a whole.

Refresh my memory... the rule is it's ok to troll threads the mods don't particularly look at right?

Let it die and make an incredible mini-series... get all living original members and do a massive time-travel story that involves all Enterprise ship captains to solve it...

Maybe have Q really flip out and merge all time-lines and the mirror universe.

Speaking of DS9 my Tivo was nice enough to record the two part series ender... man.... I had forgotten a few details about it... nice looking space battle, nice shot of all the ships lined up above Cardassia Prime as well.... cool eb, well done closure. Damn Jake got tall.. what's he doing these days?

Why would anyone watch Enterprise when you could be spending your time watching the new Battlestar Galactica. But you do have to give them credit for raising $3.1 Million so far.

Enterprise is on at 8pm and Galactica is on at 10pm :) Plus you don't miss SG-1 as SciFi repeats it right after Galactica.

Yeah, that series has been astounding so far. Plus, I like a show where everything doesn't end with the "it's all going to be ok" attitude. Even when the major conflict of an episode of Battlestar is resolved, the show ends with you knowing they're still basically fucked and running for their lives.

Battlestar Galactica is cool and all... but if I carefully budget my time I may be able to fit in more than 13 hours of science fiction per year.

He's not doing much unfortunatly.

Here are some guest starring roles since DS9.

7th Heaven - Maynard - PK (a.k.a. Preacher's Kid) (2003)
Soul Food - Anthony Carter - Come Back for the Comeback (2001)
Soul Food - Anthony Carter - Nice Work If You Can Get It (2001)

He's also the nephew of Baseball player Kenny Lofton.

who didn't get tail in DS9?

I think by series end, everyone got some, except poor Nog.

DS9 probabyl had more inuendo than Voyager and Enterprise even with their tight uniforms.

Tall, not tail.
