There's already Allison's road and i'm not that hype for it either.

It looks super pretty and all. But the interest of PT is that first off, it was just a teaser and never supposed to be a "big thing" and was perfect in it's condensed way. That and it still had an angle for psychological horror, with majority being more than just jumpscares.

Allison's road looks nice and all and has really good sound design, but when you start seeing stuff like "SIN" in a totally hamfisted way, i was taken out of it.

My interest in it begins and ends with it being in a shitstorm. Not about the horror playing life. I do want it to be as good as it can be. It's not that the devs are completely trying to ride on the P.T hype train. The game was loved enough to inspire something like this.

Fair enough.

I'm always super critical of the psychohorror genre as it's something that fascinates me. Although I'm still miffed nothing has come close to Silent Hill 2 for a while

Apparently Matt doesn't know Ultimax is happening on Fisticuffs tonight, according to a post he made in the Something Awful thread. So either Pat and Woolie managed to usurp control of the Zaibatsu from Mr. McMuscles or this is just another opportunity from them to fuck with people.
