The undertale LP is really damn entertaining. Matt and Liam are having so much fun, it's another one of these games, like Until Dawn, that feels like it's made for them. Also they've been reading the comments too it seems, they've improved a lot. Although it takes a bit to understand Undyne's gimmick !

Not only did they not, they also actually have an amazing sense of what to do, stuff I didn't get during my first playthrough. They spared her, managed to empty the watercooler (i didn't know that was possible) and manage to go back to Undyne's because they remembered Papyru's call. I totally didn't expect them to go so early, which makes it pretty damn cool

Yeah, took me a while to figure out that running away was the correct choice. I gave her water as well and had no idea that you could empty the watercooler. Went to hang out with her afterward as well when I got the call. I saw her house earlier and figured it must have been hers after seeing she was a fish person.

There's so many secrets in Undertale it's amazing.

I'm working my way through the October videos, is it just me or is Matt's commentary getting even dumber and more unintelligible? Every video he's squealing about his gwasses or singing some non-sequitor bullshit or whatever the fuck and I just wind up sitting in my seat thinking "man imagine if Pat, without comment, stabbed him in the eye the next time he started babbling like that" most updates

My reaction isn't as.... violent as yours, but he does seem to be using the same jokes a lot recentl (that's a good one too). Then again, they're all like that to some degree.

Also for our youtube friends, the best part of undertale is now on the channel

More Undertale Vessel talk (and undertale spoilers in general, avoid if you haven't played), because something a bit sad hit me

I realize that if they manage to do everything perfectly, are they gonna miss the neutral ending altogether with flowey ? Like I don't know if the true lab sequence only plays once you beat Asgore and the neutral end boss

Yeah I stopped watching the MGS playthrough when still fucking talking about Yuri and his sister in Africa, big boss best soldier in the world nonsense singalongs out of nowhere, and it's fine comprised half of the commentary of every video

True ending is impossible to get the first time though, you have to get neutral first.

The only thing concerning me about the Undertale LP is
That Matt obviously knows about the Muffet "cheat" and they're going to miss out on the awesome music and cool fight if he chooses to use the donut on her. Also it's really lame that he found out about it and is planning to use it too, AFAIK there's no actual way to know those items skip the fight unless you got spoiled.

Also I wonder if they're going to realize that Alphys gives you the answers for the Mettaton fight, no LP's I've seen realized it even though I thought it was pretty obvious.

Since I'm not watching any current LP's, I went back and watched the Prison Break LP.

Good shit lol. Not sure why I never watched it when it was coming out, but I was always meaning to get around to it. Glad I finally did.

I didn't notice those hints until my second playthrough; I think on your first time it's easy to get caught up trying to play it straight and not notice them

I can understand people not getting since you have to be really paying attention, but
when it got to the 2 trains question I realized that there had to be something to the fight and then noticed what was up.

Hey I finished Undertale...

Amazeballs, game of the forever. would play again.

So good.
I'm mad my OTP of Undyne and Papyrus was so off, but oh well. Favorite moment, the true ending? And the fake ending. Whole thing was awesome.
Favorite gag? Cooking with a killer robot slayed me particularly hard for some reason. Favorite character? Undyne, closely followed by Papyrus and then... the flower.
Worst part? Not hotland, but I felt the core and Alphys lab were kinda weaker follow ups to the original 3 areas.

I really loved this game, and it's going to be fighting MGSV and Bloodborne really hard for my choice as goty. Anyways, sorry for the blog, lol.

Still too short for that price tag though. By far my biggest gripe with the game. And I only paid 40€.

Same length as Revengeance, same amount of difficulties as revengeance, and 50 extra challenges compared to Revengeances 20 something VR missions? Nah.

I'll shit on Pat more after listening to the podcast probably, but if he actually chose Normal after Revengeance then what is he even doing.

The franchise certainly has something to do with, since I care a great deal more about Metal Gear than I do about Transformers - I basically bought it to support Platinum.

But I beat it in like 6 hours on Hard and have zero desire to go back to it. Without nostalgia or real connection to the source material, Platinum Combat porn can only take me so far. Not to mention that for such a micro-management intensive game the menus are a disgrace.
