Been reading up on Jango and apparently someone thought it would be a cool idea to come up with him killing six jedi bare handed like he was Iko Uwais in space. All this just to get decapitated by Jules.

The only thing that makes Boba cool is his wardrobe. Pathetic really.
That sounds good but I'm still holding out hope that we get an Obi-Wan movie. Ewan was the best part of the prequels and it would be so nice to let him have his own movie so he could really shine, and also not have to work with a script written by Lucas. It could show what he was doing between episode 3 and 4, maybe even bring Darth Maul back as the main villain.

Dont know why, but this is so well done. I know its a snippit and some may to their eyes, but given how much modern cinematography is plagued by CG or artificial camera men, seeing this is not only a breath of fresh air, seems far more harrowing than it might have with one shot, CG guy with circular panning into the pit 'modern standard' we may get.
And whoever mentioned a Obi Wan original story with Ewen is a genius, that to me is almost as exciting as an original star wars movie.

Though it's not canon, and not much of an origin, I always preferred his appearance in Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars than Episode 3.

That will never happen Disney have officially stated the core star wars stories are all 6. People should accept it and see how they progress from what's already there.

You seem to forget my generation, and several others, grew with the prequels, Young kids today watched the clone wars and are watching rebels now.
Episode VII will probably have some ideas carry over, the Sith as concept for example.

Nope. The CG one was the only EU thing brought over into the new canon.
The very idea of a Boba Fett origin story in a post prequel world makes it very relevant. I don't see how you can say with such certainty that they are going to ignore anything especially when they are already using elements borne from the prequels in things like Rebels.

Rebels isn't using characters from the movies just pet characters from their previous show
And those toys are being made eyed towards kids who are arguably most familiar with the clone wars cartoon. I should clarify and say it's being ignored in the movies not the stuff for children.

So I imagined the Jedi temple? The ones introduced in the prequels? How about the entire 501st clone legion making a comeback? They also went to Mustafar a prequel planet,the destroyed Clone Dropships that were first introduced in the Battle of Geonosis?... I can go on

I don't see how you're so sure they are ignoring anything based on 3 min teaser. Can´t wait to see your angry posts if they mention the Sith Lords or Midichlorians in the new trilogy.

According to some interview with Lucas, Boba survived the Sarlacc Pit. Who knows what's going to happen now though.
