So will the GC/PS2/X-Box cables work with Rev/PS3/360??

I'm soon to buy the component cables for each of my consoles since I'll be buying an HDTV in the near future, but I'm gristling at the possibility of having to do it all over again when the new consoles arrive in the coming months/year. Can well tell from the screens/impressions of each of the consoles whether or not the cables will be backward compatible with the older predecessors or will we be pimped for more $$ with new revisions? Since these consoles are so hardcore about Teh Aych-Dee, will they come with component cables included standard??

If any of the old consoles are an indication, the Nintendo cables of old will work.

(I'm kinda curious myself, as I bought the rediculously expensive component cables for the GC)

1080p will require an HDMI connection I believe.

My TV has HDMI, so my component cables will be used for my old PS2 while I buy new HDMI cables for it (if I keep it, depends on level of BC PS3 has)

I hope I can use my component cables from my GCN for Revolution. Those were damn expensive. (50 bucks which inc shipping and such)

PS3 will undoubtly have the normal composite/S-Video/component cables because it has an AV Analog Out along with the 2 HDMIs.

Though whether we can use our old PS2 cables remains to be seen...

Next question would be; Will they ( all three) output upto 1080i over component..?
If not I will kick my tv for not having HDMI..
