I think everyone and their mother knew CoD wasn't coming to the Switch 1 and that the agreement was for Switch 2.

Yeah it's weird people think Microsoft would be willingly withhold this, they want more customers and GaaS customers more importantly and will be doing everything they can to port it.

Correction - Anyone sensible at the time knew that would be the case, but it was intentionally left to be open ended and ambiguous because the primary tool of all this was to appease regulators.
