It means Dylan is supposedly signed on.
It's not official, though. That's factually untrue to say it is; I'll wait until Variety or THR runs it.
(Just playing semantics, don't mind me.)

The people who wanted Spider-Man to enter the MCU the most were most likely the fans, so it wouldn't be unreasonable to think those people would recognize the theme.
I wouldn't. The elfman spidey theme really isn't as distinct or memorable as the raimi fans think it is.
Yeah, I never really thought it was any good. And can't even think of it right now myself, which is a shame because Elfman's Batman theme is my favorite theme for a superhero.
Just get like, 3 or 4 of the Batman theme notes slightly wrong.
Congrats. it's his Spidey theme.
I love the arrangement of the theme but the melody is kinda all over the place.Just get like, 3 or 4 of the Batman theme notes slightly wrong.

God, tumblr is going to be unbearable
Marvel confirming they're going for the Tumblr market I see
He was also the best choice by far on the rumored shortlist

still think it's better than anything the MCU has produced.
The greatest super hero theme is, and always shall be, William's Superman theme.
The credits are nothing but the logo and words flying at the screen, and it still gets you pumped.
katee sackhoff is next y'all
lol
I feel fairly safe in saying, after 30+ years, that there isnt' going to be a single superhero theme that ever meets, much less tops, this piece of music. It's so well executed that for many people, when they think Superman, they don't see a particular incarnation - they hear that music.
also: Garfield looks like he's Shailene Woodley's older brother in that photo.

It sounds like webswinging for meI like Elfmans Spidey theme, but it isn't memorable and doesn't really reflect the character.

It's honestly better than anything the MCU composers can cook up though so they should just reuse it

This is what I feel to.to me elfman's spidey theme is synonymous with images of people screaming "go spidey go" or spider-man swinging straight through the headlines
it's a perfect marriage imo
the instrumental arrangenent is perfect for spidey. It's honestly better than anything the MCU composers can cook up though so they should just reuse it
And it's the first sound that comes to mind to me when I picture webswinging tbh
i need to watch teen wolf. not just because of this, but doubly so because of this.
he looks the part, but he'll definitely be the cutest peter we've had yet. guess it's no surprise that they keep pushing 'cuter' with each iteration, but always pictured peter as a fairly plain guy in my head. Even Garfield is a bit on the geeky side. Dylan is rather a pretty boy type.
I am glad you have seen the light.U kno wot.
I just listened to it again.
I am a fool.
I forgot how much I love this track.
I think I was mistaking the Spider-Man 3 theme for the regular one.
According to the supposed leaker, Logan Lerman was going to get the role before the casting guys saw Dylan O'Brien's spectacular audition (pun intended).

I'm skeptical. Mainly because Latino Review can be hit-and-miss.
this seems likely

So the guy who was going to do the next Spider Man movies is going to do the next Spider-man movie. So what was changed again?
