I've been witnessing some people saying "Ouch!" in turf wars. How and why are they doing that?
For those using motion, what do you set for both sensitivities?

One player per switch.
No cpus, unless you refer to horde mode.
Okay so after I hit level 10 I can play ranked with friends, right?
Also how much exp do you get from Salmon run?
I think it could use a bit more variety in scenarios but the core is so incredibly strong because it's all about balancing risks in every moment, between defending golden eggs, holding off hordes, painting the ground, pushing bosses to break them (and it's seldom one boss on higher difficulties meaning hitboxes are everywhere and the timer forces aggression), getting the eggs back which means fewer dudes killing off the horde (and it's a pretty legit horde) and so on. It's a short mode but intense mode which works in its favor to just get the player in the action as fast as possible and skips most of the ramp up that more longer horde modes have in setting up defenses and progression (not that the way Gear 3 or Killing Floor handles it is bad at all, far from it). And pretty much the only new player mechanic in the mode is the limited Specials. It uses the core mechanics more for the most part quite elegantly meaning skills here translate to competitive play.
Plus the gritty aesthetic makes a great contrast, the music is great, the enemy design is great, stage design is great as well. It's a pretty strong execution of a well-conceptualized mode. Just needs more to it in terms of variety.
I love that they built completely new assets for the mode. Really allows it to shine with its own personality.
Can you play Salmon Run online with randos? I'm only seeing the option to play it via local multiplayer...

How can I rank up my player? Do I need to play online?
Great game so far, since I can only play single player.
Don't have internet at my house so I use a mobile hotspot which is only an issue with Nintendo games. Everything else plays just fine.
Has anyone been able to get these games to play online with a hotspot? I have cricket which is an att subsidiary so not sure if that matters. I can go online and buy/download games, can see everyone's squid kids and fresh artwork just can't get into a game because "Nat traversal fails"
:/

Feeling real dumb, but how do you play Salmon Run? Is it local play only? Can I not play online with strangers?
And are there different multiplayer modes in team battle other than turf wars?

The most horrifying bosses are those which did not appear in training...
i use the default settings they have always worked perfect for me.
I'm assuming when you're surrounded by the firefly things, it's basically like aggro and enemies come towards you, right?
Quoting myself hopefully to get an answer
I hope that the weapons for Salmon Run change as well. I've seen amazing Charger players in the original that were at the top of ranked mode. However, the weapon isn't for everyone and often times the player with the rifle is the weakest link.
I've found that no team really knows how to deal with the Griller right now.
I've fought a Griller wave a few times and another wave containing a "Glowfish" I think it was called, where the Salmonids just blitz you at breakneck speed like a bunch of Zerglings in Starcraft.
Two questions:
-Is there any way to play a "normal" match with one Switch in a local set up with another friend?
-Is there a way to play a "normal" match against CPUs or can I only play this online?
I play on a 4G hotspot, but I have Verizon. I haven't had any issues. I'm level 10 and so far I've only had one DC. It runs great for me.
No and no, no split screen and no CPUs for anything other than singleplayer
Yo, what's the deal with the flag on the matchmaking screen? It has a number and an arrow and says dry?
Android? Any special settings/apps?
Yeah, I have an Android. I don't use anything special.
