Can someone explain the Knack meme to me, and how it relates to Spla2n since people keep bringing it up? I tried the demo for Knack 1 and it was not good.

Got my copy in the mail just now and am updating, getting ready to jizz paint all over everybody as soon as it's done.

Am I weird, or does the Splatoon 2 Inkling Boy suit look just like a Antifa protestor or something lol?

As someone who didn't get to play Splatoon 1, do you recommend single player first? I have both the joycon and classic controller. What works best for most people? Game looks like a lot of fun.

Whoever says Salmon Run is easy is taking the piss, or they've only just started playing it (as it get's much harder)

It's gotten so hard all of a sudden I've ranked down all the way back to part-timer lol.

I give up now, I can't take seeing "It's a wrap" anymore....

From what I've played so far the singleplayer is quite fun and it'll help you get used to all the weapons if you experiment.

But you could definitely get away with just jumping in online and learning as you go, it's what I did with the first game. You'll probably get used to the ropes faster, trial by fire.

How do you do the teleport jump? I just can't figure it out for the fucking life of me. I go to the map and select a person, but then I just lay on the thing.

Motion controls finally clicked. Wew, that is some of the good shit. Just jumping right in and taking my lumps helped a lot. Still feels odd when using a roller, though. Been using the dualies mostly however, that feel when you dodge and splat someone just when they could have splatted you is THE BEST.

No, the problem is even though the right stick is supposed to be for left to right only, the motion also lets you do left to right, so I'm doubling up on the one axis and it's really throwing me off. And even minor tilts I seem to go very far.

go to the weapon test area and mess around with your sensitivity settings

Picked it up during my lunch break! Never owned a Wii U and I only just got my Switch on Monday so I've never played it before. Hyped! Just gotta make it through the day and figure out how to juggle these 4 1st party games.....

Ok seriously how the fuck do you jump to your allies? I'm pressing the d pad buttons, im hitting zl, jump, etc.

Edit: nevermind, guess you also have to hit A

Thanks dudes!

Wait, how do i switch mode in Regular Battle? like this Salmon Run whre do i find it? and i also have no idea how to start the campaign...i'm so lost lmao

Regular Battle is Turf War
Salmon Run is in the shop to the back left behind the main building
Campaign is accessed by following Marie down the grate in the ground, also to the left

How's the single player campaign? Is it worth picking up for that alone? No interest in the multiplayer but could do with something to play on my Switch during the next couple of weeks while I'm away.

I think it's pretty short? Probably not worth $60 if that's all you're interested in.

probably not tbh, I think it's about 6 hours long

it's really neat though

Got in an hour of Turf War on the restaurant Wi-Fi during lunch. I love this thing.

Been playing for about a hour I miss using the wii u gamepad catch myself looking down to check the map & player positions only to see my pro controller will take some getting used to.
