some people are really good with the charger, challenging you to switch up your strategy to something other than "take the obvious route towards the enemy"

makes for tough but interesting games

Anyone here actually do well with any of the charger weapons? I keep giving them a shot but I always end up last on the board and don't feel like I contribute much or get many kills.

Chargers are good for holding onto choke points imo. Here's what I usually do.

-find a perch.
-lay down lines so my teammates can swim through
- snipe people in my vicinity.
-as the downed enenmies respawn, my teammates advance.
-I'll be the last one to advance, or I'll hold down the middle of the map to snipe enemies as they leak past my team members and lay down ink in spots they missed. This also helps because as the advancing team members respawn, they'll land to me at a safe distance from the enemies.

Playing this way usually gets me in the top 2-3 spots a game. You will be a massive thorn in the other teams side so be prepared to have 2-3 people coming at you as time goes on.

Edit: it's a support weapon. Don't get too comfortable though and be aggressive when you can be. Using the bombs helps a ton too.

The final boss was getting annoying at that final leg, died twice there, my over all favorite has to be the fish boss, though.

That was just FUN to fight.

GGs to everyone I was playing with earlier. I keep forgetting at times that aiming down with the roller will make the splash pretty much non-existant.

Finally "discovered" the Splattershot Jr last night. definitely underestimated it.

As far as the maps go: the whole point is that the available multiplayer maps rotate every... I want to say two hours? The point is, it'll be a selection of maps every little while and it rotates between the available pool at random.

This is actually a pretty good thing, because... well, it pays to get familiar with the maps. This isn't the kind of FPS where you want a gorjillion varied maps that you don't remember very well, map awareness pays off in this game. It's like a MOBA in that regard - you want to be able to glance at the map and be able to plan out your next move and know where you are and where the enemy probably is.

I know what you mean, but I played for several hours and saw the same 2 maps. They were good maps but surely there has to be some middle ground.

Anyways, the game is awesome and I can't wait to play some more today!
