Splatoon |OT| Squidstyler

Playing in a lobby with 6 Japanese players and the lag was so bad that 3 direct hits from my Inkzooka didn't even phase the guy. And every person I killed ended up killing my a good 6 seconds after they were dead.

Does anyone own the Prima Guide? Does it give ability boost numbers?

From a quick test, using 3 (!) pieces of gear with Swim Speed Up as their MAIN ability only improves travel time by 14%, so it's effectively useless. Also, despite the game saying Ninja Squid reduces “slightly” your swimming speed, the difference is insignificant (less than 2%) so don't hesitate to use it.

2% really? Maybe I will get it then. I want Ninja Jump too.

Admittedly it feels like they made some concessions to the abilities in due part so they can stack. My fears of gear being too overpowered were relatively missplaced.

Do I really want to play through 25 time trials to unlock the Amiibo costume and a minigame? Not a fan of the Amiibo content

The Squid amiibo challenges take like 45 min- 1 hour. Seems worth it for music player/rhythm game. Found it more entertaining than the regular story missions.

i swear i'm the only one who bothers to paint the sides and in between the crates
I feel ya, I don't think my team inked any of those my entire last match. If I hadn't held back and been so diligent with my inking, we wouldn't have won.

And yet I got the lowest score on my team!
*shrug*

I like that a lot of the items that didn't seem particularly useful in Turf War are pretty much a core part of Splat Zones. I'm talking about the Sprinkler, Splash Wall, and Echolocator. Also Inkstrikes are ridiculously useful in this mode.

At this point ranking up is just gambling, the competition is so even and both these levels are long distance so it's hard for me to make any progess.

Was worried waking up this morning that due to the random nature of the rotations I wouldn't get to play on the new map.

All 3 of my matches have been on the new map, lol.

Also the last match was pretty tense and it looked really close, until the results screen where I noticed we won by 10%, I was confused until I noticed that the enemy had left an entire section of the map uninked. ahaha, idiots.

How much does one piece do. Assuming 14% is accurate and one piece is 8% it suggests it is indeed addition but each addition is half the previous one. 8+4+2=14.

OK

Playing with a gun has made me realize just how annoying a good roller can be. And how bad mist rollers are. Holy cow I feel like I need to teach a roller 101 class, it almost hurts to see these guys failing.
