And the minigames are worse than squid jump so far, with race being rehashed content.

Has anyone put together a resource of what abilities can roll on what?

Like I'm pretty sure Ink Resistance Up is unique to shoes and has to be the main slot correct?

As I start to realize how good these unique abilities can be I'd like to figure out the configuration I want to shoot for. Like if Stealth Jump and Ink Resistance Up are both main shoe slot exclusive or something.

I think it's pretty obvious which ones can and can't roll. There are a set of abilities that could not possibly stack and those abilities can't be be rolled. They're the last 11 abilities in the ability guide.

Can only appear in main slot:

• opening gambit
• last-ditch effort
• tenacity
• comeback
• cold blooded
• ninja squid
• haunt
• recon
• bomb sniffer
• ink resistence up
• stealth jump

These abilities glow in the HUD when being used.

Can be in any slot and rolled:

• strength up
• defense up
• ink saver (main)
• ink saver (sub)
• ink recovery up
• run speed up
• swim speed up
• special charge up
• special duration up
• quick respawn
• special saver
• quick super jump
• bomb range up

Two things that I think are utterly awful:

1. Rapid Blaster
2. Bomb Rush

Anyone have any success with either of these?

1. Good for blasting enemies rapidly.

2. Good for rushing in with bombs. Especially useful in the Splat Zones mode. It has turned the tide of the battle to my favor more than once.

As a general tip I can tell that no weapon or perk is truly awful. Each and every one of them has their places. Some are better than others but there are succesful tactics found in everything.

Not true. You can get your money back as many times in four hours as you can get the cat give you money. I don't know the exact amount. Maybe thrice every four hours.

..and die in there, unless your team has control over the area. Unlike Turf War, in Splat Zones there's a head to head battle between opponents.

I'm genuinely surprised to see so much hate for it.

I was talking about the number of purchases. I previously thought you could only get paid back for just 1 action (slot purchase, reroll, order purchase) because I had not seen anybody mention it.

If a team has more than 2 rolles it goes downhill. Usually teams without a roller get dominated aswell, at least from my experience.

I wish there was no level cap :-(.

Reposting since I think my question was missed ten pages ago and this thread is moving way too fast lol

So, one of the shoes I got ended up getting the Inkling Speed Boost twice. Do we know if these abilities stack on top of each other?

Also, when I was playing online, I was only level 6 but frequently paired up with people no less than level 12. I was surprised at this pretty poor match-making, I thought Nintendo would've been on top of this. (this was pre-update, not sure if that got changed since the micro-direct)

Just to clarify further, you need enough money first.
If you only have 30k, you can only get that 30k back once per Judd talk (up to 3 times per map cycle).
You can't keep using that same 30k indefinitely.
