Splatoon |OT| Squidstyler

If anyone actually likes Saltspray Rig, please commit Squidoku. I looked down for a sec to see where my teammates were and just went flying right off the side of it into the water.

I-i still haven't had a lot of time to play the game yet with work this weekend. Is there anything I should be working towards for my clothing? I thought I understood that you get bigger bonuses if they're all made by the same brand, but im not sure if I got that right or not.

I really love that paint roller weapon...is there another one later on that's better? Anywhere I can see all the weapons (or just the images)

The oil rig map is definitely my favorite.

I also like the rig map

Ugh. Seriously can't wait until August. Getting paired with a garbage team is so demoralizing. That's the only major misstep of the game as far as I'm concerned. The other things are minor issues.

you know, I really disliked it at first but I think I'm starting to figure out how to approach it

probably still my least favorite but I'm not awful on it anymore haha. those side corridors are crucial.
It's so good. Just had 7-0 game on it with the roller. Love the way the middle of the map is designed.
Of course you mean Urchin Underpass.
You guys clearly haven't used shooters while facing competent chargers.
Cause it rocks! I imagine we'll have to wait for ranked mode to see a wider variety of weapons getting use
I know. :/

I'm really having a blast with this so far. The matchmaking seems really good to me, my team has been winning about half the time so far, so they keep them really even.

Taking my time with it, I just got to level 4 and spent a ton of money in the shops trying out different gear. I LOVE the paint roller, that is so my style of play over the guns. I'll probably be using that from now on.

God, randomized outfit upgrades and preset weapon abilities are such a bummer. It would be so awesome to build an outfit (with the perks I actually want) and a loadout. I know Nintendo probably isn't interested in making something that complex, but I hope it's at least considered for a sequel.

Even so, really enjoying this.

You know whether you're on a good team or not if they stay behind and cover the base BEFORE charging ahead. Too many times have I been the only guy spraying the base; it takes up so much of my play time :(

The worst is rollers who dont stay back and paint the base.

It is so easy for them but for shooters it takes so long

It'd be OK if people filled it in as the game progressed, but the few times I assumed that'd happen, there have been large splotches of unpainted turf left until the end of the game. Very frustrating indeed.

Single Player complete, Hero Suit get, Octosuit get.

But they're all two's not 3's, so I'll never use them.
You do know you can add slots by talking to Spyke. Cost is one shell (from splatfests) or 30,000 gold (need to be level 20).

I used to do this but then I thought, I hate super jumping so I need to leave myself something to do when I respawn.

Man I lead my team to victory in the last match, plus I got 6 kills and died 0 times.

I am getting better at the game. <(^_^)>

I love seeing all the Miiverse pictures prevalent throughout the maps. Makes me wish I could draw well ;_;

Same, I tried to draw a picture of Mario and Fludd saying "Here we go again" but it just ended up sucking.

I played a match where all of my team mates disconnected.

Same.

Yep, that's the role that I sadly have taken.

I believe there's a way to reroll equipment after hitting 20. It's a money sink though.

Finished the campaign and liked it. The levels with the tornado octopus things were really annoying and while the last boss was cool, it went on for way too long.

Off to the Multiplayer now!

violet teleporting all over the place at the end there, not cool >->

i should really quit life tho after running into a roller twice, fucking hell

If you stay back to paint your base when the match starts, you'll give time to the other team to gain territory. Save painting the base for when you respawn.
