Splatoon |OT| Squidstyler

Getting lots more comm errors lately for some reason.

Cannot pry myself away from this game, just so addictive and fun!

Me too, every time my team going to win the ranked match it always gave me "connection error"!! Funny thing is that every time my team is going to lose, I got a smooth match. That's make it so hard to rank up, especially since the error penalized me with minus 10 point >.<

During my last ranked match session; won 2, lost 1, error 4 times, and got back to C- T.T

They should reduce the penalty!!!

Is there any way of turning off the sticky aim? I swear, every time I try and shoot someone, the game decides what I really want to be doing is aiming at the floor. It's near impossible to shoot on ground below me without locking onto the ledge. Monumental pain the arse.

Stay fresh!

Alright, they really need to not count D/Cs as a loss of points. I nearly was at B- and then had two splat zones in a row where I was about to win and D/Ced...now I'm really far from ranking up again. It's bullshit.

Looks like I need to file Splatoon away under the heading "Great Game That I Suck At" in my game library.

It can keep Smash 4 and FE:Awakening company.

Seriously, I haven't won a match since Saturday.

Having a ton of fun and surprisingly placing well most games despite not being good at shooters. Got to level 5 before leaving to upgrade my gear now I'm really ready to wreck some turf.

Are they going to cycle out game modes in ranked? Splatzones are too shit to go on, the 20 second rounds, the fact that its camping: the mode, the constant barrage of inkstrikes, I can't use the weapons I like because they all have Echolocator which is useless in that mode. It's like the alternate universe version of turf war that's really bad and frustrating.

Dang. Going out on a low note. But I got to level up and we won a lot so I'm happy. You guys are great! I can see why you don't want to give up that bubble shield, skies. think I'm gonna change my mii name to my gaf name. It's easier that way.

i hate to tell you, but there's no sticky aim in this game

Echolocator works well in SplatZones. Allows you to be aggressive and kill those camping, or gives you an idea of incoming foes.

I found my weapon of choice. Rocking hard in ranked and turf war with the .96 and added damage. The sprinkler is just too good to lure out people while covering big areas.

I always rank 1 or 2 with a positive k:d in turf war but feel pretty weak at splat zone.

I realize some of the basic advantages of certain sub and special weapons in splat zone. But anybody on GAF wanna share a couple of solid strategies they're enjoying? I need to find a solid groove and branch off from there as it clicks better

That's how it works in turf war, in SplatZone the area is so small that there's only ever like three places anyone is going to be. Like on Salt Spray Rig, sure I can use echolocator to be sure of someone's position, but 99.9% of the time they're going to be A) on the platform above the point B) the platform a few feet away from that one or C) coming through the front door.

locator is also good for keeping track of squids trying to hide in ink or to ambush
