Wow. What the heck is this show? But anyway I saw Navel mentioned in the OP so I'm guessing it's an eroge conversion? Honestly, I think that sometimes with those things they really ought to either just make it all ages (if possible) or go down the full on hentai route, not this half-assed half-and-half crap.
Yes, it's an eroge. And no, it depends on how the adaptation is done. In hindsight, after seeing what they're doing with it, then I'll say they're better off forgetting the pretentiousness and make it a full-blown hentai instead, but then, if it was hentai, they wouldn't get the time slot on that channel in the first place surely, no? Besides, the half-and-half crap isn't bad in general depending on how warped one's expectations or standards of the genre is. It's just done poorly in this case.

Hair down Anaru > all though.
We all know it won't last forever as indicated in the preview. The ponytail is here to stay

I still only found about 10% of this episode to be entertaining, by which I mean funny, but never mind. The scenes that worked for me, such as the drawing scene, worked pretty damn well.
The production values are still through the roof, which may be the reason I'm still paying attention to this show. I'd like to single out the music as being one of the shows better features, but nearly every part of the show is made at a high standard.
The best feature. Feels highly reminiscent of the music in those old Looney Tune cartoons except even more fluttery and just as restrained.
I know what I'm buying this season.

Ore-tachi 2, 3, & 4. Welp, easily the worst anime that I've seen so far this season. Zero redeeming qualities. If it were trying to be a fanservice, why censor 90% of it? Why not focus more on fanservice instead of boring shit nobody cares about? There are far better fanservice animes and there are far better boring shit nobody cares about animes. This is the worst of both worlds.
To be fair, a lot of fanservice has been getting strong-armed into censorship or it's intentionally done to spur actual sales in the past few seasons most noticeably (past few years probably). As to the boring shit, it's why I said the series is outright bad because it doesn't know what it wants to be, how the plot twist was revealed in Episode 4, which further exasperates the sense of plot, and the overall directionless doesn't draw attention to the suppose hints they've tried to imply. You listen to the Tiger & Bunny advice but not mine? Could have saved yourself the time :lol

But thats the whole point. They're corporate sponsored heros to deal with the fact that superheros cause a lot of collateral damage. In this universe the sponsors foot the bill when the heros break shit so its in the sponsors interest to keep their heros in line. The conflict comes from he main character having to deal with his ideals as a hero and the wishes of his sponsor and the HeroTV program. Bandai decided to have real companies sponsor them because it would give it a bit flavor to it and, hey, its a great way to make some extra money. Beyond the logos appearing on the hero's suits the real companies products really aren't pushed at all.
Well said.
