Not really. Most of the sequences in the show are packed with meaning, unlike certain other shows that I don't care too mention.
You can do this for most well-made TV shows or movies and to a far, far greater extent than we've done so in this thread.
But its more fun to look for it in shows like AKB0048!

that can see the youkai without anything special just like Natsume. The closest one is Natori but as I recall he needs the glasses to see them. Drawing circles still makes you fully see them unlike poor Kaname, but the ability has a massive flaw

Mizushima is staying busy. I'm not interested in anything like Strike Witches or Upotte, but with him involved I'll at least pay attention to the full reveal.

Mizushima seems to be one of the most versatile directors in the industry. That also means a lot of his stuff would probably be hit or miss considering the wide array of genres he covers.

With everyone wanting everything on Blu-ray, are there any anime titles that should not be purchased on Blu-ray? I noticed that some titles, like Chobits, are apparently better on DVD than Blu-ray.
I may be in the minority, but if I know the Blu-ray of any title is an upscale I will simply purchase the DVD instead of the Blu-ray. Unless FUNi-style combo-packs will become a future norm.

I would most likely always go Blu-Ray if given the chance, sound is usually at least a bit better and for my anime the visuals. FMA BroHood was better on Blu Ray then on DVD (happened to accidently get one volume of the five on dvd).

Theoretically, all SD mastered shows should look better on Blu-ray by virtue of not having crappy DVD compression. Unfortunately there are a lot of crummy upscales out there.

HD Mastered show - BD
SD Mastered show with a good upscale and DTS HD MA or Dolby THD - BD
SD Mastered show with bad upscale but respectable DVD encode - DVD
Anything else - Pass.

There are several exceptions, such as Big Windup, but most of what Mizushima directs ends up being comedic, even when it's not trying to be (Blood-C).

I think this was the first story to last 2 episodes in the series so far unless I'm forgetting one from the first season. Wouldn't mind seeing more of them if they remain the same quality.
