Symphogear 10-13 FINAL

This show had its problems (uninspired monster design, unnecessary fanservice, horrendous Engrish, bad CG vehicles, and
the way berserker Hibiki was portrayed was super lazy
) but ultimately they didn't detract from the show's appeal too much. Catchy pop songs, the power of friendship, and stuff blowing up real nice, especially in the last few episodes.

Better tsundere violence than watching 5 unassuming girls who lack any interesting characteristics whatsoever talk about nothing while eating cake for 39 episodes.

Come at me bro

Holy crap, she is actually wearing pants instead of gym shorts. I should give Toradora another shot, assuming I can get past that hideous bird.

Kids on the Slope 6

Going into this I knew I wasn't going to like the new guy based solely on screenshots of him but my god, this dude needs to go jump off a cliff as soon as possible. Talk about forcing drama where it isn't needed. Also, dat fang looks cute on girls but heinous on dudes. I'm sorry but that's just how it is. I don't make the rules.

Aside from that, episode wasn't really as terrible as I was led to believe.

Tsuritama 6

Must be opposite day for me because, on the other hand, this wasn't really all it was hyped up to be. Yeah, the developments were okay but also much needed at this point. I will agree though that it was the better episode of the two this time around.

¿Que es esta mierda? Los dos sabemos que el OP en español es HORRIBLE. Bueno, es mejor que el de DBZ, pero todavía es horrible.

Estás pero si bien mal, mi chavo. Besides, we all know this is the absolute best spanish OP of all time.

Has anyone watched Hyper Police?

I watched some of it. The characters were somewhat entertaining but the story never felt like it was going anywhere.

What I'm getting from the last few posts is that I should watch Toradora

Yes you should.

I know Dresden likes to pimp some manga sequel from time to time but I have no clue how it ties into/continues the story.

I still listen to lots of the songs, all the Zwei Wing ones are the best Orbital Beat and Gyakkou no Flugel, Gekisou Gungnir and Watashi to Iu Oto Hibiki Sono Saki ni for Hibiki, Makyuu Ichii-Bal for Yukine Chris (the best one, those missiles), Flight Feathers for Tsubasa, and of course the Meteor Light for the ED and Synchrogazer for the OP.

I really hope its licensed, I want to experience it again in actual HD. Hopefully funimation delivers.

Is it safe to assume that Darker Than Black will never get a third season or any closure at all?

You should read Darker Than Black: Shikkoku no Hana. It's the second season everyone wanted. Self-contained story, palatable villain, moe Yin, badass Hei, an abundance of lolis along with Kirihara getting cockblocked yet again. (Also features the cute Indian scientist girl from the first season.)

Basically takes place after the first season but before the OVAs, iirc. It's been a while so I don't know if they specify it but it's easy enough to glean from what you see in the manga.

What are you talking about? It needs a second season first.
After so very long, I finally know that feel.
Until BONES runs into a string of bombas and needs some quick cash, sure!
Wait. Season 2 sold well? I assumed it was a total bomba.

Sounds like good stuff. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to look at the franchise the same after S2 #12, though.

Has the creator said anything about where he planned for the story to go after the second season?

Yeah, season 2 sold decently well, it did like 10k+ for each volume. Could've been a bit more, that's just off the top of my head.

I think Okamura said something like he's satisfied with where it went, or something. I can't quite remember, I'll need to look it up.

And do read the manga, it's the best thing to come out of DtB.

It actually did pretty well. Second best selling Bones show.

Well, that's fairly horrifying.

Still, do we know how well the original sold for a comparison?

Huh. The more you know.

As in, he's satisfied with the ending we were given? What.
And do read the manga, it's the best thing to come out of DtB.
I shall!

The Light of El Cantare
How much longer until the BRS BD box set releases? I can't wait until we have sales numbers on that.

average:

12,151 - Darker than Black -Ryuusei no Gemini- (Fall, 8 vols)

*6,752 - Darker than Black -Kuro no Keiyakusha- (Spring, 9 vols)

Undulation sells.

I just discovered someone hosting a video on Youtube containing all the cut scenes from Xenosaga I into one video. Seven hours of pure cinema. Gaf, I'm thinking about sitting down and watching it. All of it. Including II and III, which are 4 1/2 hours and nine hours. It'll be glorious.
