lol horizon.
Yeah, lol. Then again, Horizon never felt like a ecchi show. At all. Yes, there's fanservice, but it's either just kinda there and not even noticeable (status quo) or played for laughs (Summit's Flower).

what the hell is going on here

Anyway, even though it was 99% certain, in case there were any doubts, Production;I.G has totally confirmed they're handling the Robotics;Notes anime.

Also, animeanime.jp may apparently have jumped the gun a bit on calling To Love-Ru Darkness as airing on TV, as they have since yanked any mention of TV from their article on it.

Steins;Gate 5

Pretty good Dr.Pepper commercial and
hooooly crap, human gel-nanas
. Plot thickens
into Bill Cosby jell-o
.

That was definitely around where I was rather hooked to it.

Randomly talking to cosmic about named moves reminded me of what they did in Symphogear this week. The moves and title cards are still there, but they never actually call them out. I think that's the happy compromise between needing to have moves for the video game and not having moves at all![/QUOTE]

Asgard was my favorite one, as well as whatever Chris's missiles, though was it ever given a name, cant remember the episode.

Sailor Moon 18
in which Usagi is actually awesome for once

z1xRA.jpg

Unlike a certain other anime I could mention, *cough* Oreimo *cough*, Usagi and Shingo have a true, proper sibling relationship.

Well, apart from the fact he has a crush on her alternate self.

Rei managed to score another date with Mamoru, and she looks quite pretty when she's all dressed up.

Mamoru himself had a rather interesting moment when he crossed paths with Nephrite.

Perhaps there's more to Mamoru than meets the eye! For example,
he might even be Tuxedo Mask!!!

I'm one of those people who find dolls creepy, especially when they're designed to be creepy, as was the case here. :( Anyway,
a new villain is trying to cause trouble for Nephrite, who doesn't care, and ends up pissing off the Queen. I foresee unhappy things in Nephrite's future.

Usual
discovery of potential power
fare. I found myself okay with it, if not, indifferent. This was on my "maybe" list, I'll give it a few more episodes before full judgement.

People in the IRC I visit know I love slice of life and suggested Koi Kaze with the pretense of it being deep slice of life.

There is an ocean of bad shows, but never so thought-provoking and needing to cleanse myself at the same time.

Koi Kaze is a great show, you're just upset it wasn't an over the top bullshit-fest like Eiken.

what in fuck has been going on the past couple of hours?

With yours truly, there aren't many things that ring better in a show than fun characters, a blazing fast, but coherent pacing, themes of noir--corruption and the triumphant underdog, and badass fight-scenes; This hit every note. And I really enjoyed that.

I do think it's an interesting idea. Don't know if I would call it a compromise since it's still kind of obtrusive to pause the action for that as opposed to just calling the attack while still in motion. Definitely wouldn't want it as a replacement, but I'd like to see it more often.

One day I realized that sadness is just another word for not enough coffee.
Gundam 0083 13:
Did Nina just NTR Kou?

My god she did.

Honestly, Kou isn't that bad at all. The only reason he went nuts is because he's involved with Nina and Gato.

Phi Brain 25 (s1 end)
tumblr_m1vjr7Jgoa1rqfudpo1_500.png

Lovely ending.
I cried, it was such a happy moment when the puzzle was solved and all that. I only wish Rook had stayed with Kaito and crew at the school.

Well they wasted no time in starting the second season.
New antagonist seems compelling

Symphogear - END

I went into this expecting it to be completely horrible and horribly pulled off for what concept was there.

I left with feels, fuck yeahs!, and a very strong urge to beg anyone in charge to make it happen for a season 2. Also Chris is the best.

Last episode was awesome, and you could tell that's where the budget went. Season 2 when?!?!?

It was definitely one of the better/fun shows of Winter.

Jehxius you lied.

And now with your avatar change I can never trust you again.

Well, I'm hyped now. Gonna have to watch this after Birdy and Zetman.

Well, it's visual flair which makes sense when watching a film/television show. I mean, it's like Gintama's sword fights where they don't actually show any fighting - just the before and the after of the fight itself. It invades the space of the viewer, but doesn't manifest itself of the actual world inside the show.

(I do hope that Gintama will do an episode where everyone has a special move though, if only to poke fun at it somehow. KAGURAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA PUNCH!)

The missiles at the end was hilarious. She has a billion SAM missiles in her suit.

The mom with the son-complex is still around... which still borders on cute/creepy given that it's supposed to take place in something that isn't a harem animu or whatever.

Still, a bunch of guys hanging out... fun times. The OP references all the girls from the mango though, so I presume it's time for some relationship angst!

I don't know if it was because it completely outdid my expectations or what, but it was just plain fun.

It gets a bit silly in the story sometimes, and some of the animation and visuals can be questionable at times, but w/e. It's totally enjoyable, fun, and it knows what it's made out of, and for me that is what's important.

Also yeah, the last episode was pretty, and from what i've seen of BD comparisons, there's a shitload they've fixed.

My apologies if I hurt your feelings. I didn't mean to imply it's a bad show. My point is it's fucked up on a level that superficial fanservice shows can't touch. You're never going to take Eiken seriously. Koi Kaze however is believable. Too believable. That's what makes it poignant and fucked up beyond Eiken's floppy breasts. It's not like this gravity-defying phenomenon is new. Gravion and Godannar preceded it with Dragonaut being a more recent example. I'm sure there are more offenders.

I started watching Smile Precure without knowledge of any other Precure title and I totally liked the first episode.
As I am no little girl I thought I would be watching this somehow ironically but it seems I am not that terrible a douche yet.
The beginning cracked me up and the introduction scene was golden.
While they pull a fun at the genre, the show manages to stay sincere.

How many episodes will it be?
I need to know.

These are the most detailed prerequisites I've ever heard for waifu/leftoverpizza physical contact.

It's best to just drop your conscious in cases like these.

The easiest thing to do is say "she is smoking hot, and if she was 3D I would totally smang it, and only feel a bit of shame"

See?

Bakemonagatari is shitty shit that looks like shit (except for the cute parts)

You've got troll harder than that, cajun :x

Zetman 1

I've heard that this is a compressed adaptation, and there were a couple story points that could have been handled better with a little more care (
Jin discovering his grandfather's death, him waking up after being attacked in the park
). The soundtrack is not as effectively choreographed as it could be. But overall, as someone without prior familiarity with the manga, I thought it was a good episode that effectively introduced the central characters and what motivates them. The action animation is pretty good, and I look forward to seeing more elaborate fights later on.

:D Good news.

Jex was clearly working for the Free Planets Alliance and this was all a ploy to sully the name of the glorious Imperial Chief of Staff.

According to Blu-ray product listings, 49 episodes, roughly the same as all of the Precure series.

So much stupidity, although I've come to expect that of this show. Also lol at the ending
I knew the first episode was just trolling. What a pointless scene, told you Geneijin!
The final battle was sufficiently cool though at least.

I think I'm starting to worry about Jex for real. I know that a lot of us were dreading the banishment to Community, but not this much.

Precure series always run for one year, so ~50 episodes.
