Mai Ritoru Poni: Yuujou wa Mahou 7
Fluttershy is quickly tanking on the list of ponies I would like to take for a ride. After this episode its now:
Twilight > Rainbow > Applejack > Pinkie Pie > Rarity > Fluttershy
Her cowardly attitude really rubs me the wrong way. Angel is the antithesis to an Angel and she lets him stampede all over her. The entire town is in danger and what shed do was pretend she was one of those deaf-mutes instead of actually doing something about the problem.
Heck the girls start their
own P-Team with a theme that is more Dirty Harry than A-Team to boot and even then shes still a coward. Credit Twilight though, being the cunning and mastermind genius she is, she knows that she has to coerce Fluttershy into riding it out as shes instrumental to the operation and it turns out she was right. Of course one does not simply walk into
Mordor the lonely mountain. Fluttershy being as terrible as she is nearly gets the entire gang killed and herself killed on more than one occasion.
I think the episode says a lot when every single pony has to be shoehorned into the Flutteryshy centric episode just to make it work. The last episode didnt have Fluttershy or Pinkie Pie and yet this one has the entire gang rag tag along simply because Fluttershy is incapable of carrying the episode by herself.
I do appreciate what all the ponies have going for them right now. Rainbow Dash is the epitome of COOL, Pinkie Pie is a bouncing off the walls giddy manic, Twilight has that composed, reserved vibe to her, while Rarity and Applejack have the dueling uptown girl / country gal elements. Fluttershy is just a shy coward who only has mere moments of being well normal. Thats not really all that interesting.
I support this pairing. It's certainly better than that horrific Twilight x Trixie that Hitokage just mentioned
