If the second episode of Upotte is as crude and terrible as the first episode, I might pick it up again. However, for the moment, I imagine that it's hit it's peak.

Based on what I know of the Upotte manga, which is admittedly very little, I think you'll be picking it up again.

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far, but I really don't have time for 'average' anime any more. There's far too many good things that I haven't watched to spend my time on run of the mill works.
There are many mysteries about the One Piece Rap that will probably go forever without explanation. This is the same company that composes such cryptic and thought-provoking lyrics as "IT'S TIME TO D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL", after all.
I don't think we even got one person coming in just to say "fucking weeaboos". Disappointment total.

Nishishi is shorthand for Miya from the series Amagami SS; Poplar is the name of a character from Working!!. Both are voiced by Kana Asumi, who also voices Nyaruko.

Speaking of slaying that infinite backlog, one episode at a time -
[Gintama 177 - 181 - Spider Arc]
Well, that was pretty god damn MANLY arc. I find it interesting that the creator chose to revisit the location and characters from an earlier arc and expand upon them somewhat, thus giving Gintama some actual continuity.
It's worth noting how well paced this is whole arc was. By that I mean, it finished in four episodes flat, with one episode for an epilogue. Hell, the final battle only took up half an episode. I really appreciate Gintama because it has these short, snappy arcs which still manage to be extremely effective. Bravo.
I found it unusual that they actually chose to expand upon Gintok's past, even if it was only a little bit, to help give his character motivation for this arc. That's right, Gintoki went off to fight the big baddie partially because of his character, as explained through his backstory. It's pretty rare to see him act like an actual character, so that made his anger even more righteous and his battle even more bad-ass.
The only disappointing thing about this arc was the animation, direction and storyboarding. I call it disappointing it was on the same level as your average episode of Gintama. Which isn't bad, but I expect these arcs to have a little more care paid to them. There were some cool sequences in episode 170, but that was about it.

For me, this is pretty simple. For the stuff I don't care about as much, I'll just watch it while I'm doing other stuff as well. So, the best stuff gets full attention, but weaker shows don't necessarily get the same treatment.
I don't think it would be possible to follow as many shows as I do if I sat there and watched and did nothing else at the same time for all of them.

Crunchyroll will show it on Thursday - sometime in the morning if you're in the States, late afternoon/early evening if you're in Europe, and late at night in the East.

I think we've all learned too much. Perhaps it's time to turn back the clock.
Well, its Fate Zero. People who liked the Fate universe were gonna watch it anyway. After the show took off with episode two and people saw the glory of RIDER, the shows success was inevitable.
Holy shit, took me like 8 pages until i realized this was you, Cajun.
Change is good sometimes. Pengu needed a vacation. I have to honor a character so cute I had to stop the show twice to recuperate.
They are definitely the worst part of Precure smile. the worst monster designs Ive seen yet.
