Kuroko no Basket is indeed a decent watch. Is the manga as good as Slam Dunk?

I don't think Kuroko will be as good as Slam Dunk though.

Hah, while I am wholly biased to Slam Dunk, I'm of course going to say no. But mostly because I feel there's a total lack of fleshing out of the main team. Which in contrast to Slam Dunk, which has everything and the kitchen sink relating to the core team players, Kuroko has decided to flesh out the main rivals instead. I still don't really know what the deal is with Seirin's basketball team apart from Kuruko and Kagami haha.

What's a basuke anyways? What does Kuroko do with this Basuke?

Basketball. And he passes it around, like a total bossss.

Kids on the Slope

My god, it's... it's... BEAUTIFUL.

Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan 01:

Time to see if animated adaptations of fantasy JRPGs still retain a perfect record of sucking!
[...]
I just about spewed drink out of my nose at the scene of the girls chasing the guy on the beach in the OP. And that was just the beginning. Basically, Rick, whoever the fuck that is, lives on some mystical island and apparently makes really, really, really good bread. He works with three supple young girls in eye-murdering cosplay garb whose relationship to him remains completely unestablished through the first episode, and they basically go around doing..........bread things.

Did I mention that everyone really, really, really loves Rick's bread?

Clearly Shining Hearts is co-funded by the National Bakery association of Japan who are looking to trick otaku into becoming trainee bakers in the hopes of refilling their depleting ranks of experienced bakers.

I think icarus gained a new nakama, and your avatar is hilarious.
But but:
I felt the same emotional daze I did after watching works like Mind Game, Haibane Renmei, Kaiba, Tatami Galaxy and Penguindrum because they all shared dat contrast between hope and melancholy, and realized their ambitions very well.

Shining Hearts - 01

How DARE that elf bastard insult Rick's bread doesn't he know that Rick's bread is the hottest shit on the island? Even a random catgirl is traversing a distance to try Rick's bread, their business can't keep up with bread sales damnit, even Sylphie that looks like a Kyubei reject with a pimping ahoge couldn't resist Rick's bread, I want to punch that guy in the face for his transgression the outrage of it all.

lolwtf at that ED.

Stop selling people on this show!

It's like a representation of Japan's population problems in bread form.

Thank you, Envelope!

Then I went on to this. The football animu of my dreams.
Good to know! Quite a bit of football shows lately, and NHK picking up this one... the influence of Japan's 'Nadeshiko' victory sure was strong.

Too reasonable for AnimeGAF

I try not to sometimes, I swear!
If I make something really stupid in the future, I'll use this as an excuse.

I know it's been said many times already, but it's still worth highlighting what a rich variety of visual styles we've been treated to this season:

Also, I find it pretty amusing that Sacred Seven and Tsuritama both reference the same tower and both chose to depict is using a particularly noteworthy colour scheme - but one does this far better than the other:

(Of course, one of these if far more detailed as well)

There's been a lot of great music as well, but compiling that all together is no easy to ask and as I've said earlier, the best show has yet to air!
What, no Ozma? :p

I didn't even bother watching a single episode after all the negative impressions in here. Yes, I trust you folks that much!

Maybe because it's a real location on Enoshima? :p

Tsuritama > reality
Huh? I thought you posted "AK47" referring to the head (lord) of the AK family on Upotte!!
Before I was banned it was accepted and well-known nickname of AKB048.

edit:

I blame unknown soldier

They are playing football! And it doesn't look like shit!! It even has a main character named Erika who is all about girl power! It's not like The Knight in the Area where I was expecting some nice-looking matches with decent animation but got cardboard-cutout shit. I didn't care for the melodrama, nor the cast full of dipshits (Seven aside). I just wanted football, and that didn't deliver.

Then I went on to this. The football animu of my dreams.

You are forgetting
KOBAYASHI
and her smexy voice.
