Utakoi, Moyashimon, and Natsuyuki (if true) should make it a good season. Will also likely check out Kingdom (if it's not ruined with filler), Sword Art Online, and Tari Tari. I suspect Hidamari Sketch S4 will be in the summer as well, and if I can get to the earlier seasons first I'll be watching that.

Well, shit. That was AWESOME.
Beautifully animated, beautifully choreographed, beautifully directed. I hope there's more like that coming. ufotable has progressed considerably since the KnK films, even though this is a TV anime they have definitely surpassed the fluidity of animation and level of detail that was seen in the previous films. They seem to understand when it's appropriate to use 3DCG too, something which was also observable in the KnK films.
Too much talking here, Rider would be bored. I'd better go watch him fluster the shit out of poor Waver some more.

Oh, so that's how they're going to wrap things up. I can respect that, it was the right choice considering the limitations they have in terms of the number of episodes they had to work with.
Well, they pulled out all the stops for this finale. They managed to pull out all the major tracks from their OST and use them effectively with some interesting cinematography and solid editing. Each character, even a few side characters, managed to get enough time spent on them to make me feel like they'd moved to new a stage in their lives where they'd be tackling some fresh challenges. It was surprisingly effective.

It looks very much like you average anime season (from this vantage point, anyway). By that I mean it has a small handful of promising shows (Moyashimon Returns!) and a load of rubbish. Luckily, Spring will be amazing. Right?
Terrible anime interpretation of breasts vs. the natural wonder of Lan's thighs. Battered wife syndrome vs. clumsy puppy.
It's not supposed to be a difficult choice.

I was sooooooo disappointed that GONZO died soon after Saki ended... I want my season 2 of Saki 
and I'm sure they'll find some other food to cross product if it's not tacos...
I really wanted to like the Bakuman anime, considering I follow the manga with a fervent passion. But the pacing was so sluggish and I just couldn't watch more than a few episodes... Glad you enjoyed it though.
Wow. Just a quick glance but virtually nothing piques my interest, except some OVA specials and Moyashimon...Guess I'll be marathoning/finishing up Gintama then.
To be fair you and firehawk have posted about asian live-action dramas in these threads before. Just saying, although I don't want this thread to be full of Avatar discussion either.

Something has to counterbalance all of the recent shows with crappy yuri under(?)tones. If it has to be a classy Watanabe helmed show with yaoi undertones, so be it.

Considering that Avatar is very much a faithful homage of the anime style, outsourced by Americans to Koreans who live to outdo everything that the Japanese do, I don't see any reason why people can't talk about Korra no Densetsu in this thread.
I'm thinking it will be the male equivalent of stuff like K-on.
