'Anime' in the English usage is an example of a reborrowed loanword. 'Anime' (アニメ
is derived from the English word 'animation', and is used correctly in Japanese to refer to all forms of animation, no matter the country of origin. When it was reborrowed into English, it's meaning changed to only refer to Japanese animation.So, Korra no Densetsu is 'anime' in the correct Japanese usage of the term, and it isn't in the reborrowed English usage of the term. I'll let you decide for yourself which usage is the correct one. I've wasted too much time typing this goddamn post instead of using it enjoyably to watch another episode of F/Z.

Except for a couple of (blatant) red flags it really did look legit. Someone went through a lot of trouble to mock up that fake magazine scan.
If that is saving anime then they might as well air a sequel to Green Green and just put it over the top.
I'd be ready for BRS2 if only to see how much dumber it could get. A high bar was set.

You've undoubtedly watched worst, but it's pretty bad (the amusement from the bad doesn't pay sufficiently for the journey either!). Unfortunately, one of the things I got caught up in this past Winter. And with little current on my plate at the time, it emphasized the bad for me.
The animations are nice and it can get pretty at times, but alas, I would advise against watching it, Ariel...

Also I hope those Fate/Zero extras are on the Blurays. Anyone with the boxset know for sure? I haven't cracked it open yet.

But were you able to finish those episodes?
But that was like being bound and having to watch someone dear to you piked and flayed.
Guilty Crown surely cannot inspire such blatant physical PAIN.

Guilty Crown had the highly amusing episode 12, comparisons to Eiken are crazy talk. Even when it's bad, GC doesn't become pure torture like Eiken.

Exactly. It has redeeming qualities, whereas Eiken made me feel like setting myself on fire and perhaps running around until I ceased to exist.
