With the additional $5 pre-order charge, yes.

??

Just to clear things up. The preorder charge is in fact supposed to be debited from the retail price so if its $59.99+tax, it would be $54.99+tax. My personal pre-order from Origin for the CE came about to a total of $162 including tax.

However, the charged amount in the end (outside of the preorder deposit price) is returned to you so you are in fact not charged the full price until launch (the initial full charged amount I believe is to check whether the card or account is valid.)

*Edit: Response from Origin

Please be advised that if you order through the Origin Online Store, your credit card will be authorized for the full amount of the purchase price, but rest assured that when the transaction settles it only charges you with the actual pre-order fees. It can take up to 72 hours for a payment to process. If the pre-order payment did not complete processing after 72 hours, please contact your credit card provider for further investigation.

150? Are they high? The CE should be as much as the Digital Deluxe, 80 bucks at the most. Even I'm not that much of a sucker and I love Star Wars. Standard edition for me.
Considering the CE is the #1 selling video game on Amazon, no, I don't think they're high. You ever heard of supply and demand? People will pay $150 for this game. Hell, I am paying $150 for this game.

What's with that anyways? It's $150 on amazon but origin is doing $130+20+tax? WTF?

Amazon just lumps everything together. You pre-order and don't get charged until it ships. They don't charge tax, unless you are in NY, and you are supposed to report your non-taxed purchased on your taxes.

With Origin, they charge you $20 for a deposit for the pre-order (like Gamestop and whatnot), then the balance is $130 which will get charged when it ships, and they just go ahead and charge the tax.

Digital Deluxe Edition's €-price is supposed to be €74.99... when i bought DDE from Origin, it was that... though it consisted €69.99 for the game and €5.00 pre-order fee (that €69.99 included taxes of course). Total was what it was supposed to be, no extra charged.

The pre-order charge is not debited from the price. It is an additional fee on top of the regular price. However, in the end it comes out to the retail price, since Origin was supposed to be charging $5 less anyway. On release though, Origin's pre-order fee won't apply and it will be cheaper to buy the game(but you miss out on the Early Access and in-game Item).

Do you like PvP and want to play republic side?

In the first few months of the game emphasis will be on helping eachother level, do flashpoints and pvp. All of this will be on a PvP server so world pvp will also be an option if the community permits it.

Sign up on the official website and then apply for our guild. An officer or I will take care of your application ASAP.http://www.swtor.com/guilds/102756/neogaf

Applied a few pages back.
Can we organize kill parties? You know, search and kill any Sith we find? Or is that too mean?

I wish I had £130 free to spend on a CE.

Then again, even if I did, not sure if I would pay that much. The statue is nice, but not that nice.

That's pretty impressive. It hasn't even been a day.
I think they didn't get very many. My impression was that there are a small number of preorders, but stores will have lots of CEs in stores when it launches.

Amazon is one of, if not the biggest online retailer in NA. How could they not get very many?
Thats assuming they got a small quantity. I would imagine the CE in general will only have 100K copies or so.

Amazon is likely stopping preorders for now to make sure they can meet demand then if they habe more stock will open it again

LOL, I love when people try to be sound intelligent and totally mess up articulating their point by getting the order of the words wrong in their "words of wisdom" and resulting in a total loss of impact. Good for a laugh though :)
I am intelligent but im still human. You know what I meant by it and it had everything to do with the point I was making which is flagged pvp can be considered pvp but pvp is far more than flagged pvpers experience.

Sidenote what's with all the personal attacks? Attack the argument.

Err I'm watching the ME3 one right now with Casey Hudson...

Oh I guess they're doing one today and the announcement one in a couple of days. I thought they were just going to do one.

They send me an email to say I can now pre-order the game... I click on the link and it says "Not available in your area".

Fucking brilliant.

Is it not just the CG stuff they've shown a billion times?

Yes, just search Youtube for the intro cinema. It was released at E3.
