I was curious too back when I was in it in October because I had made known to myself intentions to purchase an SSD during Black Friday sales.

They've done some changes with the game via the launcher recently from what I can tell, but you should still be fine.

My computer keeps blue screening. It has nothing to do with the beta. I hope I still have a working computer come launch day...

At least I still have my shitty laptop.

10-12 hours will get you to about maybe 14-16 tops, if you're doing quests of your level. 20 maybe if you know where everything is and you're rushing.

FUCK! I had a HUGE certification test last week and sure fucking enough I missed the e-mail. I should have fucking known considering I have been in every beta round. Fuck me...

Well, updating my graphic drivers right now. I have to get to work early tomorrow, so I will play tomorrow night.

Going bounty hunter since I am playing republic during retail.

Edit: I also now need to finish MW3 and Batman so I can trade them to amazon. Should have enough credit to make my copy free.

Edit2: I was serious about the republic raid schedule. Work be dammed we should try for a sunday-thursday schedule.

Being in the beta is a mixed blessing anyway. Yeah you get to play it early, but it will inherently be buggy and you're going to invest hours and hours into a character you won't get to keep. Once the retail version arrives you end up repeating a bunch of content. I'm kinda glad I only got one weekend in beta.....and wouldn't really mind if I hadn't done the beta at all.

I actually paid someone for a beta key for one of the WoW expansions and barely touched it at all, just because I didn't see the point in doing all those mindless quests only to have my progress wiped.

I'm starting to suspect that some people that applied might not be from NeoGAF or friends with someone that is.
I'll kick those people out come launch, it's starting to become impossible to keep up with who's who and where he/she 's from.

Yeah that's part of my problem too. I would like to wrap up MW3 (shouldn't be too much longer), Batman, and Skyrim before heading in along with the rest of my backlog.

I know if I play this game, it will be my main game. So I need to make sure I have played everything else I wanted to first.

Same, finally! Really need to see if this is going to be worth the monthly fees. Usually I'd say no way to an MMO, but the Star Wars fanboy in me hasn't been satisfied since Episode III. That was 6 years ago!

I will say this from the 15 minutes I played last night before I had to go to bed early for work today.

The game has vastly improved since the first beta I played earlier this year. I think the game is coming along quite nicely. The graphics really blow WoW out of the water.

Only thing that saddens me is that a lot of 2012 releases are going to get put on hold for me because of this game, haha.

I've got a question if anyone knows the answer. I got the beta this weekend, but it's possibly the worst weekend for me for it. I'd have max 1-2 hours to play. If I accept the beta and barely play, will I be considered for future beta weekends? Or, if I decline it, will I have a better chance to get future beta weekends than if I accepted it?

Nobody knows. There's only 1 month until the game comes out anyways.

There's no accepting or declining. If you're in you're in.

No Mac client and they don't have any plans (so far) of porting it. But the engine supports Macs so there's hope it'll make it eventually.

the email links us to a page that allows us to accept or decline. although i don't see a difference between hitting the decline option or just letting the email rot.

If you decline the weekend beta you are put back in the pool. Otherwise your chances of getting back in are slim.

ahh ic. might as well accept anyway. your probably not guaranteed to get back in anyway.

I have access to the beta again through my gf's account but neither of us will be playing. Im officially betad out. I would give the account away but its tied to a preorder.

Yea after the last character wipe, I haven't really felt like playing much more and want to just wait for launch mostly now. Other games are taking up my time now too

Half of it is the mammoth download the other half is that I know I love the game and just will wait for release. Bf3 has priority now.

Yea most my game time is with BF3. I wanted to keep playing my IA but the wipe killed my wanting to go back right now. Anyways I'm going to wait for release to hit up trooper as my first main.

Wow this sucks.

I downloaded "Main Assets 6" and installed it to 97%, when it told me I didn't enough disk space to proceed. I cleared up some space, restarted it, and now it's downloading the same package all over again (13+ GB), even though the files are on my HDD.

Well they let in ALOT of people this weekend beta. So provided they have another weekend beta, my chances aren't tooo bad if I decline...

Same. I'm going to concentrate mostly on my backlog and do some dabbling in the beta. The game has gotten a lot better over the past few betas, I am getting excited for the final product. The voice acting is pretty good.

Lol , she plays civ and nintendo games but agreed to play SWTOR since I don't really talk on the phone but I talk all the time when playing games through xbox live or when we play civ.


She has decided past consular so we wil lsee .
