Will Witcher 3 likely have a better sale during the Winter sale?
I reallllly want to try it out but I likely wouldn't get to it for a few weeks. I'm just wondering if it'll be like $20 for the game and DLC

I think it's having an historical low right now on Steam (15 for the base game) so I don't know if it'll be cheaper anytime soon... I suppose that it'll get the same price in the Winter Sales but who knows!
got home earlier from a friend's and figured that extra time i got would be a perfect opportunity to blow through inside in one sitting in the middle of the night headphones on lights off just the way i did with limbo (i forgot about the lights tho lol) and wow, this game is just a force to be reckoned with
i kind of loved limbo a whole bunch back in the day but i'm pretty sure the trial and error-y thing wouldn't work twice and thankfully they go in a different direction for the most part. whenever they do the game works great, lots of creepy environments and satisfying puzzles that u can figure out pretty quickly and don't ever stop the action from going forward. the puzzles are generally pretty clever and thankfully self contained with almost zero backtracking, which is very appreciated considering the amount of box pushing there is in the game. the action platforming stuff is very well checkpointed and jumps are pretty generous so you rarely have to do over long sections.
some of the trial and error stuff is still there but it's never too aggravating, and some of the puzzles i thought were a bit misleading and got me stuck for a while just overthinking them but it just works as a really good evolution of limbo in pretty much every single way. it just handles super nicely and does a ton of neat tricks with depth and animation that never stop being impressive. i wouldn't say everything is strong as there's a lot of swimming around and swimming is kind of the worst way of transportation in videogames so ymmv depending on how much you hate that kind of stuff (i hate it a lot and didn't have such a bad time with it)
the rest is kind of a see for yourself kind of thing, just like with limbo you're thrown into sequence after sequence of disturbing and horrific imagery and just like limbo it's all obsessively polished, and just every bit of sound and animation and scripted sequence feels like perfection. story wise i found it really intriguing, lots is left up to interpretation but the game does have a very satisfying conclusion that at least gives some weight to what happens in the game. shit just fucking goes places man, these games are not subtle and just like limbo, inside's not gonna go out without putting on a show
overall i loved it, great follow up to limbo

Guys I need your opinion. I've bought ESO from games republic with the discount they sent for Civilization.
Now, I noticed after I've bought it that it's not a steam key, but a bethesda key I guess.

Completed the two games I bought during the sale. Press X to not die was...meh.
I saw a gameplay video but I thought the game was longer honestly, I beat it in one little session and that's it. I also bought the Special Edition, but please don't do it: it's a waste of money. The Prototype is simply awful and irritating, not worth even a cent in my opinion.
Shadwen instead was really good, all gameplay, no story. The only bad thing honestly is the fact the whole game looks the same with the use of pretty much the same locations excluding a couple of levels. But be aware, you need to like the type of gameplay, so try the demo before purchasing it.

For this reason I pulled the trigger on W3 GOTY (and braking the $20/game limit rule). I do not see it going lower any time soon.
This will be the only game I get this sale. The sales are getting less and less interesting every time. :| I miss the minigames of 2011/2012.

If it was for Steam then they would listed it with a Steam logo. I guess they missed to list it with 3rd party DRM.
How many parties? Game created/published by Zenimax/Bethesda using their own online account system. Would you expect a Steam code if you bought, say, World of Warcraft from a key selling website?
It only has the game launcher, not its own store (Origin/UPlay/Steam). You'll be fine.

Have you played Castle Crashers?
I would probably say more so yourself as it doesn't mention a Steam key anywhere so it was just something you expected. I did the same from a different key supplier expecting a Steam key and got a Bethesda one. I suppose every key you buy has some form of DRM authentication with a website at least which is what the Bethesda ESO key does.

It was more for the possibility to buy the DLCs through steam but I noticed now that the Gold edition is not a "complete your collection" type of thing, so I could simply buy it from steam in the future and have all there

Steam Link and Steam controller just arrived for me. I had no idea it came with HDMI and Ethernet cable, that was a nice surprise since I didn't have an extra ethernet cable. 4 different power sockets for the supply too.
Now to see if it'll be useful enough to replace the computer that's sitting at the end of my bed.

You should check out the Disciples games (well, mostly the second game).
For games like HoMM, there's Age of Wonders (Age of Wonders III is the most recent while Age of Wonders Shadow Magic is older but still great). It's slightly more in the style of 4x games than HoMM and the combat is different (better imo), but it's pretty similar overall. There's also Disciples II (I think Rise of the Elves is the better of the two options on Steam ). The combat system is simpler (no movement) but it's still a great game. Just ignore Disciples III, since it's pretty bad. There's also King's Bounty, which is essentially the single player RPG version of HoMM.
For the second suggestion, a vaguely related game that springs to mind is The Adventures of Lomax, which is basically a 2D platformer with some Lemmings mixed in. It's 2d and there's no base building, but it has light building elements. No idea where you can get it nowadays though.
Helldivers and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture did, so I wouldn't rule it out.

Checkout Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Tricky Towers.
PS Ultimate has coop, but I'm unsure if it's local or online, but the store page says split screen so it at least has vs mode with that. And it's jut $1.99/1.79 now.
I must say that Disciples III Resurrection is an honest game; no particular strength points but not that bad as many say, in my opinion.
Be sure to consider only the Resurrection Ed. if you're interested because it is balanced, polished (a lot of bugs are gone) and it has 4 good campaigns.

It looks like Disciples II: Rise of the Elves doesn"t contain both of the expansions which are included in Disciples II: Gallean's Return, but that doesn't include the elven stuff in return . Too bad the Gold Edition with all three add-ons isn't on Steam. Oh well.
I think I vaguely remember reading about The Adventures of Lomax in a very old gaming magazine or at least seeing some screenshots of it. But I think nowadays it's pretty much impossible to get my hands on this game. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. My question was more or less just a shot in the dark.

Shadow Magic is basically a standalone expansion of The Wizard's Throne. They both play the same, but Shadow Magic has extra races and a random map generator (+ extra units, items, heroes etc). The main difference is the campaign (at least I'm pretty sure Shadow Magic does not include the Wizard's Throne one, but It's been a while since I've played it). If you care about the story it might be worth picking up Wizard's Throne instead, but the story's really nothing special so I'd recommend Shadow Magic instead.

Is it risky to wait for a better deal on GTA V on the winter sale or this 50% off is the best from Rockstar Games? On a 60 euro game every percentage matters but I'm worried if this will go lower not higher next time

Yeah, this is the best for this game.40% was the previous highest if I remember right and I feel that this (50%) will not be better during the winter sale.
