Will Witcher 3 likely have a better sale during the Winter sale?
I reallllly want to try it out but I likely wouldn't get to it for a few weeks. I'm just wondering if it'll be like $20 for the game and DLC
For this reason I pulled the trigger on W3 GOTY (and braking the $20/game limit rule). I do not see it going lower any time soon.I think it's having an historical low right now on Steam (15€ for the base game) so I don't know if it'll be cheaper anytime soon... I suppose that it'll get the same price in the Winter Sales but who knows!
Guys I need your opinion. I've bought ESO from games republic with the discount they sent for Civilization.
Now, I noticed after I've bought it that it's not a steam key, but a bethesda key I guess.
Problem is, on the page of ESO doesn't specify a third party DRM: https://gamesrepublic.com/game/mass...r-scrolls-online-tamriel-unlimited,11546.html
But it does on ESO Gold: https://gamesrepublic.com/game/mass...lder-scrolls-online---gold-edition,12881.html
So, who's in the wrong here? I guess it's in part mine since there's no "steam" DRM, but there isn't a third DRM either, so it would mean it's DRM free, but it's not.

Any suggestions for some good local couch coop/vs fun for under 10 Euro?
This is what I have right now:
Overcooked, Stikbold, Videoball and N++ are next on my wishlist. Any hidden gems?
I know DST doesn't belong there right now - still hoping for a PS4 like patch

Not too much coop, but a hilarious couch game.
Gang Beasts!
Have you played Castle Crashers?
Samurai Gunn
Mount Your Friends, Gang Beasts, Trine games, Overcooked, Samurai Gunn, the remaining Jackbox Party Pack games.
Not sure how many of these are under 10 though, sorry.
Maybe Nation Red is something for you?
Nation Red ($0.99, -90% off)
It's a top-down-shooter in the vein of Crimsonland and has 4-player-coop (local and online). It has tons of perks, weapons, achievements etc. The latest game by the dev is called Versus (but it's basically Nation Red 2) and also features base building. It's more than 10 bucks though.
Not what I'm in the mood for right now, but wishlisted for when I am. Thanks!
Runbow ($14.99)
Not on sale and also more than 10 bucks, but great fun with friends! Maybe something for your wishlist and the Winter Sale.
ESO is basically (now with all the DLC adding in the factions and whatnot) Elder Scrolls 6, that happens to have other people running around in it. I've probably put in about 150 hours myself, and I have never once "joined up with", "joined a party with", or otherwise interacted with any players whatsoever outside of the basic "we're doing the same dungeon / mission at the same time so I guess we're fighting the same monsters together" level of interaction.
It's essentially the evolution of Skyrim, that happens to be about 4-5 times bigger with probably 10 times as many quests to do.
And there's multiplayer stuff too, if you're not a total digital hermit like I am.
How many parties? Game created/published by Zenimax/Bethesda using their own online account system. Would you expect a Steam code if you bought, say, World of Warcraft from a key selling website?
It only has the game launcher, not its own store (Origin/UPlay/Steam). You'll be fine.
You can register your ESO key here.
I"m looking for two game recommendations.
The first one should be a game like Heroes of Might & Magic III. Release date and graphics don"t matter, but it should be available on Steam and it should have a similar kind of base building like the HoMM-games. Hot Seat would be neat, but isn't necessary.

Regarding the second game: I know how stupid this must sound, but is there a game which is a 3D platformer but has also light building elements? What I mean is stuff like you have a base and can improve it and/or you can use some blocks you built to get up to higher areas. Probbably sounds like a gameplay clusterfuck, but I recently had a dream about this kind of game and I thought I'd ask.
Is there a chance for Bound to release on Steam?

I must say that Disciples III Resurrection is an honest game; no particular strength points but not that bad as many say, in my opinion. You should check out the Disciples games (well, mostly the second game).
Those two show in my picture though
Thanks for the suggestion! I remember playing the vanilla version of Disciples II way back (10+ years) at a friend's house. This should be good. You should check out the Disciples games (well, mostly the second game).
For games like HoMM, there's Age of Wonders (Age of Wonders III is the most recent while Age of Wonders Shadow Magic is older but still great). It's slightly more in the style of 4x games than HoMM and the combat is different (better imo), but it's pretty similar overall. There's also Disciples II (I think Rise of the Elves is the better of the two options on Steam ). The combat system is simpler (no movement) but it's still a great game. Just ignore Disciples III, since it's pretty bad. There's also King's Bounty, which is essentially the single player RPG version of HoMM.
For the second suggestion, a vaguely related game that springs to mind is The Adventures of Lomax, which is basically a 2D platformer with some Lemmings mixed in. It's 2d and there's no base building, but it has light building elements. No idea where you can get it nowadays though.

Be sure to consider only the Resurrection Ed. if you're interested because it is balanced, polished (a lot of bugs are gone) and it has 4 good campaigns.
He's a cool gaffer.
Too bad you can't do that with Hektor the gaffer. Heyoooo.
Looks like a good "Myst" clone.
Shadow Magic is basically a standalone expansion of The Wizard's Throne. They both play the same, but Shadow Magic has extra races and a random map generator (+ extra units, items, heroes etc). The main difference is the campaign (at least I'm pretty sure Shadow Magic does not include the Wizard's Throne one, but It's been a while since I've played it). If you care about the story it might be worth picking up Wizard's Throne instead, but the story's really nothing special so I'd recommend Shadow Magic instead.Great suggestions, thank you very much! Age of Wonders II: Shadow Magic looks right up my alley; I presume it's the better of the two (the other being Age of Wonders II: The Wizard's Throne)?

29,99 for GTA V
Is it risky to wait for a better deal on GTA V on the winter sale or this 50% off is the best from Rockstar Games? On a 60 euro game every percentage matters but I'm worried if this will go lower not higher next time
Any suggestions for some good local couch coop/vs fun for under 10 Euro?
I'll throw in (4 player coop) Castle Crashers, Magicka and (2 player coop) Orcs Must Die, Dungeon Defenders. Old but gold
I'd just go for it, dude. The only way you'll get a better price is if you go off steam and you don't get a steam key that way

All these gaffers playing ESO - I feel like getting it.
But that 85GB download...
Any better deal for ESO gold than the $30 on steam?
