FP was my GotY 2014, and if you liked Genesis/MD era platformers you will love FP, get in on dat ish!

Also get Strider it was my GotY 2014 Contender as well!

For anyone who hasn't done it yet, get Life is Strange.

Don't worry about waiting for a higher discount, it's worth the full price and the devs deserve to be supported for what they're doing.

It's about building up your business. Driving safely while not being late or breaking any traffic laws is the aim of the game.

SK was in my top 3 for 2014, but I couldn't get along with Freedom Planet. Thankfully I got it for free with that gem auction thingy.

Why are people still surprised by the lack of significant discounts when the refresh the storefront? It takes a few minutes for the proper discounts to update! Should be added to the OP really.

This, although there are still people denying the reality. It doesn't take much research to find many games that aren't being given as big of a discount as they used to in past sales.

Yeah, I was actually thinking that it would be 30% at most, I'm pleasantly surprised at the 40% discount.

I don't really know how the two games compare. Freedom Planet is a lot like the Sonic games were, so if you dig those then you might enjoy it. I personally was never a fan of Sonic and couldn't get in to FP at all.

Shovel Knight on the other hand was fantastic.

I have to say im getting tired of Valve putting games in the daily section that arent further on sale. Did it with Portal 2, CS:GO, and now ARK:Survival Evolved.

50% should be the minimum for daily sales unless the game just came out within a couple of months. Then 25~33% would be acceptable. Yeah, I know this won't ever happen, but some of this just feels like such a waste of time.

Sorry to hear that, personally I find both SK and FP great, but my Genesis bias makes me like FP more XP.

Ugh why they gotta throw Ori and Shovel Knight at me on the same day? I would've been fine biting over separate days but spending $20+ dollars on a single sale day feels so wrong.

Its true the steam sales have been getting worse and worse. This summer sale is the worst I've seen though.
