No it is not. Works fine.

I played the first FallOut3 on Win7 without incident as well. Was it GFWL though? Did they have it and remove it? I played it years ago. I had some crazy gfx probs with my GTX460 at the time but I flashed the bios on it and it fixed it so it wasn't related to the game at all.

I refunded a couple games but I still have the card drops from them after the refund went through. Do I just sell them or will they be revoked later?

Finally! Trails in the Sky! God damn, that took forever.

Of course, now I have to wait before starting my new playthrough... I'm already in the middle of Ark of Napishtim and there's no point starting something like TitS with Arkham Knight less than a week away.

Picked up Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition. Never played Fallout before except for a few minutes outside the vault in Fallout 3. Fallout 4 looks cool and i wanted to get into them. Anyone have any mods that are absolute for New Vegas for a first timer?

1. Project Neveda (and all its extra options) honestly makes the game so much better. Essentially Fallout New Vegas 1.5

2. Neveda Skies, allows inclement weather rain, storms etc.. (kinda of got annoying for me after a while, but it is cool)

3. More Traits

4. Weapon mods expanded

These are the essentials

Everybody get One Finger Death Punch
It's a very simple game, but is among the few games on Steam that'll make you feel like Bruce Lee+Kenshiro all rolled up in one simple stickman.

Heck even TotalBiscuit liked it!

Kinda reminds me of Kung-Fu Master from many years ago...

I just noticed on Scholar of the First Sin that both the upgrade and the full game have the same price 19.99€ but with different discounst 20 and 50 %. That can't be right, the full game was at 29.99 iirc.

Worse for me, I have to pay a pound more for already owning the game :p

Valve recently changed drops to only occur 2 hrs after first launch to be in line with their new policy. So you fell through the loophole before they closed it.

I'd probably hang onto the cards for now, maybe write Valve a reply mentioning you have the cards and you want them deleted. If they're still there in a couple of weeks, I guess you could sell 'em.

There's no mention of trading cards in the refund FAQ, so I'd say they won't be revoked.

Alright I'll hang on to them for a while.

Any differences between the Trails in the Sky version on Steam, and the version that is out on Vita (PSP)? Probably would prefer to have it on Vita if there are no differences between the game.

Has the Sherlock Holmes franchise been on daily deal yet? I want that classic pack. Judging by the latest game being 75% off a few weeks back and only 50% off at the moment, it's bound to be on daily/flash deal sooner or later.

The only thing I'm interested on right now is the Serious Sam Classics and I don't think I want to use my credit card for just 44 cents...Gonna have to fire up Idle Master... oh right, I forgot Steam ruined that ;_;

No, it's really not. Just because its fine for you, doesn't mean its fine for everyone. I know countless people that run into persistent crashing including my self. I rather warn people then say "it's fine".

You warn people about a problem not everyone has claiming it's the operating system. That is deceitful. It is assuredly not Windows 7.

I played the first FallOut3 on Win7 without incident as well. Was it GFWL though? Did they have it and remove it?

They did remove it, but as well, I never had issues with GFWL because it was never required to do anything with the game.

I see the Fallout franchise is on sale today. I've never played a Fallout game and I've seen the Bethesda show about Fallout 4. It looks amazing and probably a good starting point. Should I bother with Fallout 3 (I'm on Windows 7) or just start on the new gen?

Or you can wait for a future sale when Fallout 3 GOTY is 75% unless you really want to get the game(s) now.

Only minor ones. PC version has far, far better image quality as you'd expect, and also fixes a couple of mistranslated lines. It also has some Steam features like achievements and such, and the PC version's cheaper (at least in the UK). That's about it.

Saints Row finally, but it's the same discounts we've all seen before.

Depending on the encore deals this may be another sale where I don't buy anything.

I get where you're coming from and thats one of the huge benefits of PC gaming (we have options to improve things ourselves) but at the same time, it shouldn't be an expectation when buying a game that the user should have to fix it themselves. If it is buggy and crashes, consumers should be made aware, and if there are fixes that's useful info as well.

It was a daily or a flash in the second or third day of the sale.
