I played the first FallOut3 on Win7 without incident as well. Was it GFWL though? Did they have it and remove it? I played it years ago. I had some crazy gfx probs with my GTX460 at the time but I flashed the bios on it and it fixed it so it wasn't related to the game at all.

Picked up Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition. Never played Fallout before except for a few minutes outside the vault in Fallout 3. Fallout 4 looks cool and i wanted to get into them. Anyone have any mods that are absolute for New Vegas for a first timer?

1. Project Neveda (and all its extra options) honestly makes the game so much better. Essentially Fallout New Vegas 1.5

2. Neveda Skies, allows inclement weather rain, storms etc.. (kinda of got annoying for me after a while, but it is cool)

Valve recently changed drops to only occur 2 hrs after first launch to be in line with their new policy. So you fell through the loophole before they closed it.

I'd probably hang onto the cards for now, maybe write Valve a reply mentioning you have the cards and you want them deleted. If they're still there in a couple of weeks, I guess you could sell 'em.

There's no mention of trading cards in the refund FAQ, so I'd say they won't be revoked.

That's a bummer. I bought a code from Canada for a friend who redeemed it on Steam in the US. Maybe they're more strict about regions now.

It's damn good and runs almost entirely at 60fps (only animation I recall stuck at 30fps are the rifle reloads). Also is getting an amazing HD texture pack from a dedicated gaffer and their friend(s).

You warn people about a problem not everyone has claiming it's the operating system. That is deceitful. It is assuredly not Windows 7.

They did remove it, but as well, I never had issues with GFWL because it was never required to do anything with the game.

Fallout 3 isn't entirely reliant on GFWL, say like Bulletstorm. If it ends up being an issue there is a mod to remove it completely from Fallout 3.

Only minor ones. PC version has far, far better image quality as you'd expect, and also fixes a couple of mistranslated lines. It also has some Steam features like achievements and such, and the PC version's cheaper (at least in the UK). That's about it.

I get where you're coming from and thats one of the huge benefits of PC gaming (we have options to improve things ourselves) but at the same time, it shouldn't be an expectation when buying a game that the user should have to fix it themselves. If it is buggy and crashes, consumers should be made aware, and if there are fixes that's useful info as well.

Yeah it was already unfortunately. If you're talking about this pack Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective Collection it was only discounted by 10% I believe.
