Oh my GOD. I waited all sale, barely spending anything, for a better sale on Resident Evil HD. It finally goes daily, and it's EXACTLY THE SAME PRICE IT'S BEEN ALL SALE?

COME ON, CAPCOM.
Came here to post this. Fuck off Capcom.

scam alert on the capcom sale, 7 € for revelations2 ends up being only the first of four episodes.

Picked up Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition. Never played Fallout before except for a few minutes outside the vault in Fallout 3. Fallout 4 looks cool and i wanted to get into them. Anyone have any mods that are absolute for New Vegas for a first timer?

It says "Summer sale" instead of "Daily" on the store page, so it's not even a daily. It's just part of the franchise; some of which IS going on daily.

Publishers are going to become even more apprehensive of Steam sales from now on. They bet on our mentality to buy shit on sale, and they will adjust their prices accordingly to offer worse deals from now on.

Hold the phone, you're paying 7 € for Episode 1 only DURING the sale? Holy crap. It's $2.99 CAD.

Do the prices on these event cards usually go up right before it ends? I don't wanna sell them now only to see the price quadruple tomorrow. >.<

If I remember right I think they actually go down as people start to urgently try to offload them before they become useless? I may be mistaken.

Still no Scholar of the First Sin.

We only have two more days left. I'm assuming the last day will be encore sales. If it doesn't go cheaper by tomorrow I'll just snag it at the 50% price (which is still a good deal).

What the heck is up with the "Europa Universalis IV Extreme Edition"? It's a package that only includes the base game which sells by itself for $7.99, but the package is priced at $11.24.

Paying an extra $3.25? That must be what makes it the Extreme Edition.

It was a bonus version when the game launched. Extras include STAR AND CRESCENT, HORSEMEN OF THE CRESCENT UNIT PACK, CONQUEST OF CONSTANTINOPLE MUSIC PACK (sorry for caps...it was cut & paste).

Not the best deal by today's standards, but it does offer more than the base game.

Everything from big publishers is so lackluster. Only Stanley and Goat Simulator are at good prices. Even EYE, I thought would go for $1, but it's only $2.50. Saints Row 2 is higher than its usual $2.50 too.

Such a bummer sale apart from MGGZ at $5.

Never played the assassin creed games, worth picking up? or bad ports?

I've only played 2 and Brotherhood. They run fine but I wouldn't call them optimized, the shadows really kill performance and it's not fully customizable. I had some control issues with Brotherhood, especially in one mission where the flying controls flat out didn't work. Plus there's Uplay which made me lose a save file in AC2.

So, these are the last new sales, anything tomorrow will be encore, right?

Trying to decide what to buy, i'll buy only one thing from my wishlist (i have strong willpower).

It's not just Ubi. Bethesda did it, Valve did it, Capcom did it, T2 did it. There were price hikes all around if you were paying attention.
Well I already had all those games and everything I wanted were smaller or indie titles not counting Revelations 2.

In that regard, it was a great sale. But yea the big players have been a bit stingy compared to other sales.

I have all the Saints Row IV DLC, but I looked at the content of the Game of the Century pack since it says I don't own all the DLC and the only DLC I don't own of it IS the Game of the Century pack.

It's like some weird inception.

The last new sales will be the next set of flash sales. Seems tomorrow and Sunday will be encore sales.

It likely comes with this content since it says that upgrade takes the regular game to Deluxe.

The Life is Strange pricing sure is weird. No doubt trying to hook you with a cheap first episode.

Definitely picking up OFDP and possibly SRIV.

I see. It is strange that it is not mentioned in the package. Also, it's still $1.26 cheaper to just buy base game and this upgrade separately. Gotta watch out for these misleading package deals.

Just wanna put it out there that I finished the whole of Fallout 3 in Windows 7 without any non-gamebryo related bugs.

Also, Fallout 3 is my favorite game ever. Get it.

Konami is another culprit (Metal Gear Rising and Lords of Shadow discounts both fell short of previous sales).

Oh yeah, add another to the list. It was just disappointing. That's not even including the games that would have been discounted farther in past sales considering time from release, which happened a lot too. Pubs definitely got stingier this time around. It used to be rare for a %50 off game or less to be a daily. And Valve, please no more dailies that don't further the sale discount. I see some bad trends forming here.

It's probably too much to ask, but in my ideal world there'd be no dailies that didn't at least match a game's previous lowest price on Steam.
