How's saints row iv for 5? I enjoyed 3

Probably some of the most enjoyable writing I've seen in a game. Right up there with SR3. Doesn't take itself seriously at all which is as it should be and a refreshing change of pace from a lot of other games. Super power gameplay is incredible amounts of fun as well.

IMO it's an easy purchase for $5.

yup I had fun with both the story and super powers.
for better or worse I can't go back to the older saints row games now, and I really hope saints row just reboots itself as an over the top super hero game as I don't think I could play a more down to earth saints row 5.

Combat is XCOM-lite, but the bloodline management is as important as the combat. If you have an xbone and gold, it's free this month so you can try it out.

If you like visual novels you should probably get it. The story is pretty good and it managed to draw me in hard after a couple of playthrough. The collectors edition (besides having an awesome name) doesn't really include all that much. The soundtrack is good but it mostly consists of royalty free music IIRC.

Hmm, might pick up The Stanley Parable at € 2,99. Also still contemplating getting Ori. It's been a while since a Steam Sale got to me this much.

Stanley Parable. The game that can be finished in less than 5 minutes, but will probably keep you for well over an hour. More narration than gameplay, mind. You just control direction of walking. You can follow the narrator, or don't and see where the story takes you. Lovely little game. I enjoyed it plenty, at least. Logged 7 hours and then some.
