Steam Summer Sale 2015 thread of refunding everything you buy (June 11-21)

TheSeks

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
The only reason to buy Oblivion with Guns 3 is for the achievement console function on X-box Live/GfWL. Anything else on the PC port is a fools errand on newer systems. :/

In other news: 20million in under 3 hours. RonPaulItsHappening.gif I may get this wormhole 100million badge by 3AM tonight. :D

I actually already have New Vegas for the PS3 and am currently playing through that as well. I just figured I'd try the PC version of 3.

btw you guys should give Grim Dawn a chance, it's on flash sale and if your a fan of ARPGS it's a pretty damn good one. It's come a long ways in early access and is made by some of the core team that made Titan Quest.

Don't let the early access deter you, these devs are constantly putting out new content and put out hotfixes quickly if any issues arise.

just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in...

Might have to pick up that Age of Empires. I own the PS3 version of Max Payne III, but the PC one is only $5...

Not sure if this will be a game with a lot of replay value for me, but the gunplay looks amazing. Don't have a video card to run it yet though.

Grim Dawn is by Crate, which is made up by a bunch of ex-Titan Quest devs. It was pretty solid when I bought into the Early Access last year when it only had the first two acts. It's actually a pretty interesting action rpg, instead of the standard high fantasy fodder it's set in an era close to the 19th century mashed up with some heavy occult themes. So you've got flintlock pistols and blood magic instead of the more standard swords and sorcery. Oh and the world has basically already ended, you're just picking through its remains as one of the last surviving humans.

I think I'm going to re-install it actually. Be nice to see where the game is at now.

Does it control like Diablo, or can you use a controller?

They actually just added the third act to.

Wow, my game is just over 4 hours in, and its #11 on the list.

Would be higher but the wonderful *cough* people *cough* at Reddit are set on trolling it.

Batteries the CRISIS!
Torchlight II is up on Humble Bundle. You can get it if you pay more than the average, which is $3.83 right now. That's less than half of what Steam wants for Torchlight II right now ($8), in case anyone is interested. (The other Humble Bundle games are indie-looking cat-themed ones ... Pix the Cat, Aqua Kitty, and Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark.)

I thoroughly enjoyed the Stanley Parable mod version. Just how much more content is in the full version? Does it build on the concept any more?

Bah, keep looking at games but there's nothing on sale worth a damn. Even went in to the hidden gem thread and found nothing that looked worth a purchase.

I want to give you my money gabe, I really do.

Maybe the new flash deals in 5 minutes will help you empty your wallet.

New Flash Sale is up. L.A. Noire is $2.69, LoL

[edit] Note that vanilla L.A. Noire costs $3.99, but L.A. Noire Complete Edition with all the DLC costs $2.69. Cuz that makes sense.

What kind of games do you like

Mostly single player stuff.

Really liking Ori, playing Witcher 3 as well right now. Loved gta v, rogue legacy, monaco.

Wish I had caught spelunky when it was 2.49

If I'm not a fan of South park, though I haven't watched any in probably 10 years, is stick worth it?

thanks for being awesome. I will likely have some games to give away in the next few weeks. I am gonna go through my indie bundles and figure out what steam keys I have unredeemed (it's well over 200 so likely some duplicates lol)

Still no Dark Souls... I really think namco bandai/valve missed the train when Dark Souls 3 was announced. There was a sale on FF right after FF7 re was announced and the same happene to other games.

It may go on sale tomorrow if there are more daily deals? Otherwise I think $25 is pretty decent for the amount of content that the game comes with. Remember you're getting OG Dark Souls 2 plus all DLC content.

I don't see any deals from the monster game for tomorrow, I wonder if this is the last wave of flash sales.

either way I am getting ready to curse everyone who didn't vote for ikaruga to get a 75% off discount last sale again since it hasn't gone down to that amount on this sale either -_-

No the price isn't really the problem. Its a visibility issue. If scholars was 33% all along and they bumped it up to 50% (around the announcement of DS3) i would buy it instantly and so would many others because it would show on the front page.

Also, its weird that the update to dx11 is more expensive than the full package.

Needless to say i am still getting it at 50% because i never got to play the DLC, i just think that they could have handled it better.

Got LA Noire for $2.69. Didn't realize it was a price mistake until I went back and saw that the standard edition was more expensive...lol

Well, I'm not because I already have DS2. SotFS is basically just DLC as far as I am concerned. I'd like to buy it, but the upgrade isn't discounted nearly as much as the whole game is.

Ah, well that's weird then. I thought they were both discounted the same.

I'd vote for bad rats over a shooter any day of the week.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is fantastic. Get it!

Cosign. Interesting "retelling" of historical wild west figures & events, and a gorgeous color palette for an FPS.

Sigh, the real Dark Souls starts tomorrow; AKA going through my wishlist and contemplating/resisting the games that didn't get featured deals.

How's saints row iv for 5? I enjoyed 3

If you enjoyed 3 you will likely enjoy 4 unless for some reason super powers in saints row is a huge turn off.

Personally I had a blast playing it with my college buddy and we can't go back and play 3 anymore lol.
