I like the look (and how it looks like it feels, with the quick movement) of Ori, but I don't want to keep adding to my backlog. How worth my money is it?

Bummer that both Fallout and Souls are employing recent sequel announcement taxation, since I was really planning on getting them for their usual sale price. Oh well, I guess I'll play one of the 15 other games I got.

It was there Day 1. Rockstar trolled us, though. Base game alone was the same price. Only sale was on a bundle of GTA V with some other things. Sort of like, "Buy GTA V and get these things free."

Actually, the game's own subs were yanked when the sale began, leaving the game + "shark card" bundles as the only options available to new purchasers, which were made expressly to preclude the possibility of refunds. R* changed its tune when the news blew up.

As just about everyone before me has said, One Finger Death Punch is amazing. Best $1.24 I've spent in a long, long time. Seems so easy at first but no, it's not.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
Everyone buy Call of Juarez Gunslinger. It doesn't even require uplay!

I just got mine.

This sale has been really hard for me, there's been a load of games I've wanted to pick up but I don't have the money to buy right now. But I should have more spare money for the Xmas sale this year, so I'll try and grab most of them then :)

Also, sorry for this off topic question, but I live in the UK, later this year I am going to America for a holiday. While I'm there if I load up steam, will it have games being sold in USD? and if I buy them while I am there and then come back to the UK, is steam going to take any action against me for it?

Been a pitiful sale so far. Nothing really interesting at all for me to grab onto. Kinda tempted on Dark Souls 2 though.

Your store region is account-bound now and by default it's set to the region within which you last completed a successful purchase, as determined by the billing information that you used (this is why the cc=xx trick no longer works when logged in). If you find that Steam has switched to the US store, though, you'll be able to select the UK store from the drop-down box on the cart page and continue as normal, but even if you did try to check out using the US store, you wouldn't be able to complete your purchase, anyway.

Yes, and no

Yes, and no

I've already addressed his questions in detail. Usually I wouldn't make a point of, uh, pointing such a thing out, but answering the first question with a blanket "Yes" is no longer accurate due to the store region system recently being revamped.

I think it has been. Was 66% off i think.
Edit: Well I remember getting it for 66% off! Can't look it up now, maybe it's the regular discount.

It's 67% off at the moment. Hope it gets a daily, but might pick up either way.

edit: Somebody else having trouble with cards not dropping for regular games?

So we won't see a sale for dark souls II?

Not more than 50% no, I think I'll wait and play some more Bloodborne, the regular version of DS2 was that price in the sale before this so I'm feeling scammed if I buy it now (and it might show up in a weekend sale again pretty soon, they have been known to do that)

Oh shit, just noticed Hatoful Boyfriend is $1.50. Everyone should get on that.

Massive Chalice for $9.99. Gaben reading my posts, delivering the goods. Even though I said it was one of the 5 games I was keeping an eye out for, I really didn't expect it to be discounted any further.

Regarding card drops, Valve changed the way cards drop now, in order to prevent people from exploiting the refund system. They now begin dropping after at least 2 hours of clocked game time (either idling or playing), so people can't get all the drops and refund the game when they are done. At least, not as easily as before.

That's fine and fair, but they also seem to have applied the delayed drop rate to all of the cards, not just the first one.

I've been idling a game that's supposed to be like 3-4 hours long for over 15 hours now and it has only given me 2 out of 3 cards. That's just stupid.

Yea all it takes is being there and a legit billing address. After that is a visit to your Account Details page.
