Uh huh.

Yall crazy if you don't think Nier Automata's story isn one of the best things to happen in video games since ever. (slight hyperbole, it's really, really, really good though)

Knowing about the PC version issues I think they're right.

I've played the PC version with literally no problems with Durante/Kalaiden's FAR mod. It's worth every penny for the best version.

Now someone is speaking some sense. If you haven't snag Automata up! It's gonna be a really high GOTY contender for sure!!!

Please buy this people, FANTASTIC game

Indeed, Cosmic Star Heroine is a great callback to JRPGs of old with nice QoL improvements and great Sci-Fi setting. Plus it's only about 15-20 hours long (less if you speed through it). $12 is really cheap for a great game and vast majority of bugs are now gone.

On same note, CrossCode is also awesome and has bunch of content while still in Early Access. It's an real-time vs CSH Turned-Based and also another great choice. These two games are probably the best of the "retro" look JRPG like choices that are not expensive and are great (don't mistake them for RPG Maker drivel).

Damn, The Silver Case is all I reeeeally wanted but only 40% off, I can wait.

Dark Souls 3 is egregiously tempting at 60% off but 1. I just got DS2 2. The PC might not run it 3. still too expensive sadly :(

Will be getting Pathologic Classic HD and Killer Is Dead.

Story itself it's not but the themes it deals with, it kinda is.

What are the sale prices people are seeing on Prey and Nier? Every "Specials from your Wishlist" shows regular prices. :-\

Not sure how that compares, because literally nothing is showing up as discounted for me right now.

Steam won't load so I'm just here to trash the OP.

Actually I happen to know River City Ransom Underground is half off, so if you were waiting on that, now you know.

Every time it's the same old story. People rushing into the store as soon as the sale begins, crashing the server. What's the hurry? Why can't they wait? If they all waited a bit longer, I'd be able to get in right as it starts. But no, everyone else wants to be there too.

Take it slow, people. The discounts aren't going anywhere, so please let me browse the store now and you can do it later.

Good that you had no problems. It's still not a good version as the white screen crash issue still persists. A game without autosave being able to randomly crash at any moment is a bad port period.

As far as I'm aware, it's very hardware-dependent. I haven't had a single issue with the game in 67 hours so far, using the FAR mod of course. I'm on a 6900K and GTX 1080.

That's good to know. I have not played the game yet but it is on my wishlist. I just wonder if I can run it fine at 1080p with an i5 2500 and RX 480. Heard with AMD GPUs it was having a white screen issue.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin earlier today was £19.99 (via Steamdb). The store page is now showing it is £29.99 reduced by 70% to £8.99. Namco raised the price of the game so that when they discount it at their usual 70% they can sell it for slightly more.

I wonder if Steam will load faster if I keep hitting F5.

I better keep trying, the sales will only last an hour. Too bad Valve didn't make the sale last entire weeks.

Woot! Dishonored is at $2.49! Still waiting for the rest of my wishlist to go down but I'll definitely be getting that and Virginia so far.

Might be CPU bottlenecked I'm not entirely sure. I don't know how much the whitescreen issue is anymore for AMD cards, If I were you go ask someone in the PC thread they would be able to fill you in how it would perform on yoursetup. I had a 1060 so I had issues like that, so can't really help ya there.

40 hour game with combat that gets old after twenty minutes ain't no masterpiece

Sounds like you only played 20 minutes of it, or played a completely other game.
