This is the second summer sale, and each sale that has had daily deals has had a "best of" day on the last day where the highest selling deals are repeated.

I've never had any issues with any of them and the same goes for millions of other CoD gamers on PC.

Clearly there is an issue with your hardware/software setup, although I will admit that punkbuster and other parts of the CoD online system do have issues.

However, coming in and telling people not to buy the game is not the way to handle the problem.

Dunno when I became a gentlemen, but I only really recommended that order because of the sale.

Also, get the Complete mods. SoC is a mess without it. Don't even bother starting a new game until you've installed it.

have they fixed the brightness levels in SoC complete? That shit is weird and no amount of finagling i've done with the settings has made it acceptable.

Seemed acceptable to me, but I intentionally up the brightness of my monitor above what is standard for calibration.

I purchased Wing of Prey and now I get "Failed to contact key server". We all know what that means! That they ran out of freaking keys. I'll wait a day or two then ask for a refund.

Back when Beat Hazard first released, I didn't enjoy the mechanic behind the in-game music's volume.. and now.. I dunno what they did but I launched a track from the Tron: Legacy Soundtrack and

Belive it or not COD4's default max FPS is 85 and you have to change it. The guide gives reasoning and explenation behind each of the tweaks.

Thanks for that! I'm going to try those tweaks and see if Black Ops is any better.


Also, had i read that people were having the problems I am having with COD4, it would have saved me the purchase. Perhaps I will save someone else from making the mistake of buying it.

Seemed strange that the volume while selecting music in Beat Hazard was acceptable and in game even with full volume power up i had to turn up my speakers for the same volume

Everyone needs to buy Beat Hazard Ultra, no excuses for the price. I was bored last night and wanted to mess around with Sony Vegas prepping for recording WoW raids. I haven't touched Vegas in over a year. Just finished uploading this gameplay video, quality is not what I thought it would be but meh, I'll figure it out.

The game was made by one dude that has been making games since 1984, at the age of 14. He seems to be very active in the Beat Hazard forum

I'm getting real tempted to buy the two games I said I would. Is Guild Wars really solo friendly, meaning I can solo, like WoW solo, not EQ1 90%+ of the game? I really just want to experience their mmo design in prep for GW2, and don't feel like dealing with a player base that has been around for years.

I said I wouldn't buy Wings of Prey, so tempting though. Apparently you can shut off that stupid yuPlay crap to, unless you want to play multiplayer.

I've had Beat Hazard for awhile now, and I've always hated the way it browses your music, I'd love a bit or organization, and I thought the indexing added would do so, but it still seems like even after doing so I still have to browse folders to find the song I want to play in a very unintuitive manner. Am I missing something or is this just how it still is?

I unlocked the Gold Ship with my tickets but I'm not quite sure where to enable it in the game? :O

You know you can open up the Windows file browser from in-game, right? Makes it a lot easier.

I've never found file browsing like that an enjoyable way to browse my music. Oh well.

How does that work, are you playing different songs? Do you need to have the same song? I'd love some details as I can't play right now with roommates sleeping nearby.

It's in the DLC, Ultra. Which is like one dollar and change. Adds cool perks and awesome stuff.

It compares your indexed collection with your co-op partners. It'll show which songs you both have, and also provide you with some free indie tunes.

If you guys have Beat Hazard, you need the DLC. It's pretty damn good.

Absolutely, I was doubtful, but after actually playing it I'm loving it. The matching tunes thing is freaking sweet.

Gotta index that under options though. Do that.

Grabbed Deus Ex and the Stalker pack.

Been waiting for a Deus Ex price drop simply to have it in my collection in some form. Never played Stalker when it rolled around back in the day.

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.
I know this has basically just been posted, but this cannot be stated enough.

Beat Hazard Ultra + 200% intensity + the Shatter soundtrack = the best gaming experience I have had for years.

It helps that I adore the soundtrack anyway (It was well worth buying), but this just takes it to a whole new level. If you're on the fence about the game, just watch Carm's Youtube video. if that doesn't sell you on the game, you lack a soul.
