The game is $33 on GreenManGaming, during these Steam sales I always compare prices with other stores cause more often than not they carry better prices.i just bought these
Death Stranding is something magical. Not much to be made in savings but plenty of game to be had for €40...
*CD-Keys are selling Steam DS keys for €21, Halo MCC for €19.
But now is the time to really pack that backlog full before the new year starts!Sale seems on par with recent seasonal sales.
But, no new games I'm interested in. I did get some minor (and very cheap) DLC content for a couple of games I already own.
Besides, I made a Blood Pact with DunDunDunpachi and a few others that I'd make a dent in my backlog
No problem dude. Like A Dragon has a new cast of characters and a fresh new story. In fact it was my first Yakuza and I enjoyed it quite a lot.I really want to get Yakuza Like a Dragon, but I've only played 0. Still may scoop it up since it's a great deal.
Hunt: Showdown deserves so much more attention - criminally under represented. Easily one of the most well crafted and impressive games I've ever played. The audio design in this game is on an entirely different level compared to other multiplayer games. It has a similar tension to what you'd find in Escape from Tarkov - but in my opinion without being bogged down by the minutia of inventory management and the pressure of looting. I've never played a game that successfully established such a convincing atmosphere and used it so effectively in regards to the design of the game mechanics. There's a healthy community that plays this game regularly and I typically have no trouble getting in a game - but damn does this game deserve more. I could go on for hours gushing about Hunt and how incredible it is.
Glad you like it. Just realised that this year is the 20 year anniversary of the game, crazy...Looks like I made the right choice grabbing Deus Ex. Only played the first mission and wow at the liberty (no pun intended) this game offers to the player, and all the multiple ways of achieving your objectives.
The music is also good, and playing with the mod GMDX really helps with the graphics and some mechanics, like improved AI.
So yeah, pretty happy with it. Only 0'97€ and I already like it more than Human Revolution.
SuperhotVR is one of the best imo, and it has 40% discount.I might pick this up. I’ve had my eye on it for a while.
Any good VR games on sale?
It's my GOTY. Please buy it multiple times so we get more Yakuza goodness soon. Thanks.Hmm, yakuza like a dragon is on sale for $45. I’ve never played any of these but it seems funny from watching it on twitch.
And the even crazier thing is that it still holds up today.Glad you like it. Just realised that this year is the 20 year anniversary of the game, crazy...
Got it on Switch but sold it as the performance was just too bad. Still waiting for that to hit sub 30eu on PC though before I bite. It's great but I'm skin yo.Daemon x Machina is down to 38 bucks, lowest I have seen it since it released on PC
Fae Tacics is also only 14 bucks
I recommend both games, especially Daemon x Machina, fantastic port, runs like a dream

Wow we have other Hunt Showdown players on the forum?! Madness! Some of the best sound design I've ever heard in a shooter. Game begs to be played with headphones. Fantastic game and I've loved seeing it evolve and improve over the years.
You'll notice the twin towers are also gone, despite the game being from 2000And the even crazier thing is that it still holds up today.
Also... I'm just starting the game, but it seems they predicted covid.
Any good cheapass games? Looking for a few bucks max
Okay now I'm really scared. Time to start saving for some augmentations I guess. You'll notice the twin towers are also gone, despite the game being from 2000
Deus Ex (less than 1€) and Gato Roboto (less than 3€)Any good cheapass games? Looking for a few bucks max
That's a great recommendation. For anyone that haven't played it, it's a beautiful metroidvania/pinball and me being a complete sucker for 2D graphics was almost in tears because of all the parallax layers at the easternmost tip of the island.
Do you have Stephen's Sausage Roll? It's a very hard puzzle game that is normally $30 and is rarely on sale. Maybe the sale price is a little high based on your restriction, but imo very worth it.Any good cheapass games? Looking for a few bucks max
Hades has incredibly responsive gameplay, an intriguing art style and interesting story. It's a roguelike for those who don't like roguelikes and provides enough challenge for veterans of the genre. Replayability is very high with different builds, weapons and skills.Kinda tempted to get Hades but honestly, I'm not the type of person that get blown away by Supergiant Games stuff. So, in a paragraph, can someone tell me what makes this game so good that it won GOTY awards, everyone praises it, etc?
I'm gonna say this, i kinda hated roguelite genre before hades and now i'm a fan of the genre.Kinda tempted to get Hades but honestly, I'm not the type of person that get blown away by Supergiant Games stuff. The game is going to sell many copies when it releases on console. It's a natural fit for consoles with it's art style on large TV HDR screens and gameplay.I'm gonna say this, i kinda hated roguelite genre before hades and now i'm a fan of the genre.
It's that good.

I tried one milion time to love dead cells but i just can't.The game is going to sell many copies when it releases on console. It's a natural fit for consoles with it's art style on large TV HDR screens and gameplay.
I think it's better than Dead Cells.
I really like Dead Cells. Love the art style and combat. Just think Hades is on another level.I tried one milion time to love dead cells but i just can't.
And i now and admit that it's a great game, maybe it's just the artstyle or the progression system, i don't know...
Combat and weapons are great tho.
have you tried children of morta and neon abyss, i like these 2.I really like Dead Cells. Love the art style and combat. Just think Hades is on another level.
It's the standard now by which I judge other games like this. It's one of my GOTY.
Loved Children of Morta as well. Not a huge fan of Neon Abyss but I also haven't played a lot of it.have you tried children of morta and neon abyss, i like these 2.
The genre is full of great titles and on pc they come out like every month or two.
I don't usually like bullet hell type of roguelite (like enter the gungeon), but i really liked abyss, the ost is very nice and i had some builds so powerfull that my 2070super reached single digit frames with all the shit on screen, also the gameplay is tight, on gamepass you can try a lot of these games.Loved Children of Morta as well. No I haven't. I'm pretty picky with these types of games as I find a lot of them miss the mark for me or I get frustrated easily.I don't usually like bullet hell type of roguelite (like enter the gungeon), but i really liked abyss, the ost is very nice and i had some builds so powerfull that my 2070super reached single digit frames with all the shit on screen, also the gameplay is tight, on gamepass you can try a lot of these games.
Have you played wizard of legends, that one has a fuckload of different spells.
I'm picky too, but when i tried gamepass for 1 euro i tried a lot of them to decide what to buy.No I haven't. I'm pretty picky with these types of games as I find a lot of them miss the mark for me or I get frustrated easily.

Ok, but what exactly does better than other roguelikes? For example, my favorite roguelike (or roguelite) is Enter the Gungeon and I'm not a fan of shmups. I ended up enjoying the gameplay and playing it multiple times because there was a LOT of content and every run felt different. Sure, you could get a run where the stuff was really shitty but then you would have one where you would get stuff that would break the game (one shooting the bosses). Also, although I prefer a progression system (ex. using gold to level up the character stats), I felt compelled to return to the game to unlock the new stuff (some would end being WAY better than what I had unlocked). And after that, I continued playing until I unlocked the Platinum trophy.I'm gonna say this, i kinda hated roguelite genre before hades and now i'm a fan of the genre.

kinda unrelated but if you like enter the gungeon, you have to try neon abyss.Ok, but what exactly does better than other roguelikes? On the other hand, I didn't enjoy Dead Cells. Sure, the gameplay is good but I didn't feel like there was something for me to keep playing it. I've beat the boss in my third run, keep playing to unlock the stuff that would allowed me to get to new places and that's it. I didn't feel like using the Stem Cells to raise the difficulty (to eventually reach the real ending) because the game was too hard with the health changes.
As for the items, it didn't felt like there was too much variety and I would end up using the same setup everytime that I could (turrets+whip) because it was the most effective (for me).
So, I guess it's the gameplay and challenge that people enjoy, but it just wasn't something that I personally enjoyed.
Neon Abyss -> I have played it on Gamepass when it was released. It was ok but I evetually stopped playing. Can't remember why (maybe my sub run out), but from what I recall, it was a bit repetitive. Might give it another go since I have Gamepass, to see what new stuff was added.
Sorry I didn't respond early. Hades is a much different game than Enter the Gungeon. It always feels like you are progressing even in depth. It has a great story with excellent voice acting. It's not a bullet hell type game so it's tough to compare.Neon Abyss -> I have played it on Gamepass when it was released. It was ok but I evetually stopped playing. I guess I'll purchase Hades to see what the hubbub is all about.
What is the game like? I know there is a baby in a jar and you are like courier or something.Death Stranding is something magical.
Basically yes.Is Hades good enough for someone who's never liked a rouge-like?
It's an open-world walking simulator ducksWhat is the game like? I know there is a baby in a jar and you are like courier or something.

At it's core it's just a sophisticated delivery walking sim game. But it's connected and you help people and together make the world a better place. It's a weird game but I just love it for some reason. What is the game like? I know there is a baby in a jar and you are like courier or something.
