Some older PS3 sticks have trouble with certain PC motherboards, sometimes you can get around this with a USB expansion card. The other concern is that the PC version might not have built-in support for anything other than Xinput (ie: Xbox stuff) at launch, but this is easily worked around with keymapping software.

Ah, misunderstood. But unfortunately, even a physical version repackaged later with more content won't truly ever be fully complete, as there will always be some updates to download. I guess one might want it for collection purposes, though.
 
Won't be getting this game right away. But I will in the next couple of months digitally and if I find a good deal on a fight stick.
 
I haven't touched any of the betas.. and haven't seen any comments here about the netcode. Assuming it's pretty solid?

Also will any USB fight stick work for the pc version? I have an xbox 360 stick I used to use on my pc.

I just sold my Hori V3 stick for like $40 a week ago, as it was too hard getting used to stick. Now I'm going pad, but if I ever give sticks another go, it'll be with the Hori V4. I hope I can do with the Dual Shock 4 for the first few months.

Will be my first fighting game outside of smash. Expecting to get throughly crushed online for at least a few months lol.
 
If i buy the game on both ps4 and pc will I have the same data on them? For example if I unlock Alex on pc will I have him on ps4 too ?
 
I pre-ordered through PSN so I guess Im getting the Chun-li Battle Outfit. Is there any way to get the other pre-order outfits (Hot Ryu, etc...)?

Also I dont plan on purchasing the season pass and will just grind for characters...is it possible to unlock the outfits for the DLC characters through grinding as well?
 
It does suck, that one can't use the same CFN account on both a PC and PS4 version. That would be the most ideal to me, so that I could practice on my PC while looking at tutorials on my second monitor, and when jumping online to play matches I could do it on PS4. But oh well, PS4 only version for me.

Splatoon's content distribution plan was different than SF5's, in that, the content was already done when it launched. Nintendo delayed the release of said content to keep people coming back. It's clear that SF5's content isn't done when it launches.

its one of those games that the only people that care about reviews are people that wouldnt be playing it in 2-4 weeks anyway. And I mean no offense by that

Why would you swap to your PS4 just to play online, but practice on PC? Is there something lacking in the PC version as to why you would play online on console vs PC?

Not being accusatory or judgmental. Just wondering what I am missing out on by playing on my PC.

If it's available sure try it out, but disk installs are pretty quick imo.

Let me rebuild my ps4 database so everything is crisp for SFV XD

Yeah it's kind of weird. You'd think Sony would be all for PC players being able to transition to PS4 if they want, but I guess they're more concerned with stopping the reverse from happening.
 
I was really hoping Steam would deliver the

Chun Li costume via a code instead of it just populating in your library. Really wanted to trade it for Cammy or Ryu. :/
