Neither of those options is better than a cr FP. Bed time scales a lot and MPs are a one frame link, and do less damage than a cr FP.

Run into any abels yet? Every Ogre i've run into love to do ancient power on wakeup or do the super skrull slam and I just punish with EX TT every time. I'm curious whether or not Abel is actually a bad matchup for the dude.

just played a converted BB player who was non-stop shenanigans with ogre fishing into big combos. marvel helped me block it.

Except you have to link from s.lp into cr fp which is a 1 frame link. Throwing out that c.fp without confirming it isn't cool.

Why cant I figure out the trick to aiming Vega's Super in this game? I had no trouble with it in AE, but It doesn't seem to work the same in this game. I start charge down and try to end with a particular direction and Vega seems to go to w.e wall he feels like. Anyone have any advice?

What combos are you doing against crouching opponents when you don't have any meter?
Man I really suck at this game but for some reason I'm still having fun even when I've only won 2/30 games online. It's really satisfying to complete a trial or grasp some concept you didn't understand before. I can feel myself getting better inch by inch.

I'm pretty sure bed time forces stand with the final hit (mk). I usually manage to land the cr FP to force a stand to combo, though I know it won't work in "high level" play

I first heard of Ken being considered top tier by the Japanese on WNF. I thought they were just joking by making that up. But then I see that there was a tier list made by Japanese people(by who, I don't know yet). But really, Ken is considered top tier? I mean I realize his tatsu, both air and ground, are pretty good in this game. But his normals are complete ass. Pretty much without meter all he can really do is chain into launcher. Okay, this is something I've never been able to understand about stuff like this and SFIV and Marvel...I'm doing Raven's trials, and I'm supposed to do cr.LP, cr.MP, Alter Ego H. If I just do cr.MP, Alter Ego H, it comes out correctly every time. But I throw the cr.LP in there, and the Alter Ego NEVER comes out. I'm doing the exact same motions and button presses as I am when I do it without the cr.LP, but it doesn't work. What the hell. Can someone please explain this to me?

You can't cancel into a special move if you've chained normals together.
You're chaining cr.lp into cr.mp. You need to link them.
