I can't enjoy a anime unless it has a good female-character.

The only time I can do that is if she is complemented with a good male characters who also gets signficant screentime (ie Soul Eater). Lagrange is an exception mainly for Izo Kirius and Array and the gorgeous mechas.

Amusingly, the only reason I watched this was because of 7Th's tale of

a Japanese girl being disappointed because Cure White (and all of the pre-Fresh characters) didn't have a speaking part

. The main reason that I've avoided the All-Stars films is because

of my lack of familiarity with any of the series pre-Fresh

, so this actually ended up being convenient for me.

This was pretty much all I could reasonably expect out of a mass crossover film: well-animated fights and lots of fanservice (in the traditional sense). Story was inoffensively generic. Lots of contrivances to get characters on screen, but that's the name of the game with this kind of thing.

Also, the Suites are so much better when they're not trapped in their own shitty show.
