Just learned that Ghost in the Shell, Ghost in the Shell 2.0 and Ghost in the Shell - Innocence will come out on BRD in Italy this November and the first movie will also have a new dub (along with the old one).
Time to double-dip on the first movie and find out how that 2008 revision was (since the only way to get the BRD of the 1995 version of GitS is by buying the limited edition that comes with that and 2.0 lol).

Well, half of that episode was recycled footage. So that's disappointing.

It's nice that Giuse is trying to do the right thing, but the fundamental basis of his relationship with Henrietta is so deeply fucked up, and there's nothing he can do to address that. This episode doesn't really establish anything that wasn't already clear from episode 1, but it reinforces how deeply she idolizes him.

This was still sort of touching, though.

How did he wind up with the Social Welfare Agency anyways?

Recent impressions suggest this dip in quality is unusual. I hope it returns to form.

The only variation of that ending Id accept is if they both end up killing each other in one final up close blow at the same time falling over and crying in a passionate display of true friendship, which has fanarts.

Though Naruto seemed to or even Sasuke indicate if they fight they would both die, so it could be possible.

Yuna hasnt done anything well at all, fleeing while putting Palavin in the path of danger was the worst thing and her only actual win since things started happening was a team attack of sorts.

Pavlin put herself in danger by going to fight/test Yuna in the first place. And the Pavlin fight counts as a win. Not to mention that, other than Ichi, all of Kouga's wins during the Silver Saint arc are team victories, too. He was nearly killed by both Hound and Fly and only won thanks to Shun/Ryuho and Yuna. Yuna's victory against Crow as more Yuna's than Kouga's victory against Hound.
