There's something to be said for the whole "verging on softcore porn" genre. I don't know what that thing is, but it's definitely something.

It somehow managed to make a lesbian 3 way super unhype.

I'm legit wondering what was the demographic for the series? The plot is super dumb, but not in the fun way, but in the super legit awful way. It's so verging on softcore porn, people might as well look at porn.

It just seems confused.

I watched two episodes with a friend and our realization that both our jimmies were sufficiently rustled by the content made it very awkward, though I did enjoy what I saw. It seemed like dumb fun with dumb not-quite-porn fanservice, which I'm down for occasionally. I'm gonna marathon up to current for the new season in a day or two and I'll get back to you.

The theme I'm talking about is just the melody that repeats in a lot of songs, maybe I was using the wrong word. There was a lot of that in P1, I live for shit like that. Also

Back from Gameworks. Played my rhythm games for the month, plus I threw in a game of Ghost Squad and Taiko Drum Master at the end because I still had some spare credits. For DDR, Gitadora, Pop'n and DJMax, I successfully completed my sessions on those and I got my scores recorded for the month. Really need to work on my skills in Guitar Freaks, though. Still not sure if I'm ready for adding Taiko to the list though, because I still can't figure out whether I'm not hitting all the sensors on the drum correctly or if they aren't responsive.

Also, speaking of Ghost Squad, I'm gonna gamefly the Wii version of the game because I had not played that shit in so long, plus the calibration on both of the cabinets at the Gameworks isn't 100% accurate. A damn shame, since it's probably my favorite light gun game ever. Matt and Liam's video of it brought back some fond memories.

No sampling is when you take a recorded part of something and just keep using it, they would all sound exactly the same if that were the case.

Yeah, I took it from the actual episode and just cropped it down, since you didn't have the non-Santa hat version on. Less muscle mass visible but whatever. I actually somehow managed to land at 100x131 when cropping so when resizing it to NeoGAF avatar size there wasn't that much of a loss of quality.

The messenger bag is nice and a good fit for my old laptop. I got a Guts keychain and a NUUUDDDIST BEECH arm band, a Goku Star uniform hair pin and a Guts Plush doll.

The annoying part about selecting a song in Pop'n Music is how little time you have to make a selection. You get like a minute and a half for something like DDR, but here it's about 40 seconds, and with that particular machine having a jacked up color contrast that makes all the light colors blend together, it's a bitch to figure out what the actual song titles are.

I say this because I can't remember what the last song I played on Pop'n Music this afternoon was called, and looking for song lists for reference is a pain. That name is the only thing missing from my list of stuff played today, otherwise I've got everything logged for this month.
