Character action is such a general definition. Any action RPG where you can control a character can be character action, which includes any souls game. If we're talking about more stylish action like DMC and Bayo, then this game isn't even remotely like that. Its not about being flashy and stylish with your actions, its about kill them before they kill you and use whatever method you can do to accomplish that task. BB is faster for sure, but its not even remotely like a stylish action game.
